Tet, one of the most important festivals in Vietnam , usually occurs around the end of January and the beginning of february or on the fist days based on the lunar calendar . Tet holiday is a wonderful occasion for Vietnamese families to celebrate in which people will dress new fancy clothes,reunite together, and serve some special traditional food . Vietnamese people usually dress new clothes during Tet holiday. The clothing in this occasion is spacial and colorful. Adults wear "Ao dai " while chidren wear new and fashionable clothes which their parents usually buy for them before Tet. Moreover , the warm atmosphere of the reunion that it brings to families is also an imporant thing to know about Tet. They give the greeting wishes to each other . Children may be the most excited because they can receive lucky money from the elders.
