Most of my friends to stay inside to play video games, read books or watch TV, but I have a good hobby of going outside and playing sports. I play many different sports in my free time; some of them are soccer, swimming, volleyball and basketball. Sometimes I also ride the bikes or do board skating with my cousin in the park. In my opinion, doing sport is one of the rare hobbies that actually have good impacts on me. I am taller than most of my classmates thanks to swimming and basketball lessons that I take during summer time. Sports bring me a lot of benefits, and they are also fun things to do at the same time. I love the feeling of the cool water run through my face when I am swimming, and it seems I am flying whenever I take a dive underwater. When I play soccer, it is very exciting for me or my teammates to score a goal even though we do not take part in any tournament. Both of my physical and mental health become better after I play sports, so it can be considered as the best things to do in my free time. Sports are a part of my life besides other activities, and I will continue to play sports till I am too weak for them.
It will be a great joy or happiness for everyone if we can own a house designed by ourselves. A house in my dream is not necessarily a large house, as long as it fits my style and character. A house located on the outskirts of town will be very suitable for me to enjoy a serene life. It will be a two- storey house facing west-south side. Moreover, my house can not be lack of a large garden surrounded by thousands of different colors of flowers and fruits. I it the most when having a breakfast or enjoying night views in my own garden. As I approach the island on which my dream house awaits, I catch a quick
glimpse of it. It is huge, and is the most noticeable building in the area. My
private plane lands on the air strip next to the house. I get out of the plane
and start my journey through a heavily wooded path leading to my dream house.
I walk with anxiety toward the house at which I will spend the rest of my life.
All around me lie the most beautiful trees and plants you have ever seen. It
is peaceful but you can hear the sounds of birds chirping and small forest
creatures frolicking in the under brush. As I continue to walk along the path
the end starts to appear. I now see my house for the first time up close.
Nothing could have prepared me for the moment I was about to experience.
My house that I designed is all I imagined and more. It is a four story
dream on a huge fifteen acre lot. As I approach the stairs at the entrance to
the house I am surrounded by four columns leading to the most elegant doors I
have ever seen. They are made of mahogany and have a stained glass window in
the center. The handles and the frame is made of brass. As I continue around
the house I come across three windows overlooking the entrance to the house.
There are black shutters on each window. As the porch continues to the south
side of the house I am now looking over the Pacific Ocean. A huge eight foot
picture is facing the same way I am. As I look down and observe the ocean I
see two piers jutting out into the Pacific. On either side of the piers are
huge boulders protecting the coast line from erosion. The house's walls are
made of stucco and it has an old fashion shingles that are a clay color.
As I walk into the back yard I am surrounded by the best things a man
could ever want. Well not quite everything! But a lot of things. I walk
toward the road and I first come across a basketball court. To the left of the
basket ball court is a tennis court. There is a bar in between the two to take
a break at between games. On the opposite side of the yard there is an in
ground swimming pool that is connected to the pool inside the house. As my
journey comes to a close I notice a white gazebo off to the east of the house.
It is in a position such that you can see anyone entering or leaving the lot if
you are sitting in it.
As my plane leaves to go home to pack I take one last look at the house.
I think to myself, "Yes this is my dream house, My dream house."

To be a cooking lovers, my favorite one is the reality show Masterchef US. This is a competition for amateur and home chefs to cultivate their potential and pursue their culinary dreams. Usually, the competition follows a 4-event cycle, started with Mystery box. All contestants will be given the same ingredients to create a dish in a certain amount of time and the judges will select the best dish to be the winner who have a huge advantage in the elimination test. One cook will be told to leave the masterchef kitchen after the test. The next is Team challenge, in which two team will have to cook meal for a large number of guests and the team with more votes from them will win. The last event is Pressure test, in which losing team members have to make a standard dish to show their techniques and the losing cook will be eliminated. Two or three best chefs will enter the finale and prepare a three course menu. Based on the taste, visual appeal and overall composition, the judges then decide who will be the winner and receive 250,000 dollars reward as well as their own cookbook. When I watch the show, I am completely impressed by their talents, creativity and especially the passion in each dish, which inspires me a lot. I also appreciate the way the judges criize the food and demonstrate their techniques. To conclude, Masterchef US is a really interesting TV series that not only gives me a broader view of culinary arts but also offer invaluable lessons.

In conclusion, despite different opinions about the contestants, this competition is still becoming the most popular show in the British entertainment industry.
