Roger Federer is probably the best and most famous tennis player in the world today. He was born on August 8th, 1981 in Balse, Switzerland. His parents encouraged him to start playing tennis when he was eight years old. He won his first Wimbledon title, the Wimbledon Junior, when he was sixteen.
