Tiếng anh:

Last year my mom surprised my brother and I with a train trip to the nation's capital - washington DC. We departed at night and woke up the next morning somewhere in Virginia. Looking at beautiful sight of the mountains while enjoying breakfast.

I had my 15th birthday while on this vacation and the crew said "Happy Birthday" to me every time they saw me.

My grandmother often shared stories of how she rode the rails back in the 60's as this was the most common way to travel back then. This trip gave me the opportunity to share my story with her as well. This trip brought my family closer. I will never forget it.

There are a lot of changes in my village in the recent years. The roads in the village are now very easy to travel on because they are made with cement and brick instead of dirt like in the past. Many villagers have TV and modern electric devices which help them know more about life in the country and even around the world. We had no TVs before and our knowledge was very little. Now we can watch TV, read newspaper and have more chances to do business with others. We also have the Internet which helps us communicate easily and conveniently. Although this development is basically good, it also has some negative effects. Some factories cause air and water pollution. More entertainment centres have been set up. It makes some young people become lazier and they only want to play, they don't want to study hard anymore. I hope that they won't be addicted to entertainment and will study for the sustainable development of their family and their country.

My hometown has changed more positively. The first change is the clothing style of local people. They are wearing more fashionable clothes with many different modern styles. Secondly, they have a better life with many up-to-date home appliances such as TV, air-conditioned; refrigerator. Thirdly, internet has made a big influence on reading habit. People no longer buy newspaper, magazines. Infrastructure are improved a lot. Schools have more educational equipment and hospitals are bigger and cleaner. More and more roads are made of cement instead of dirt like in the past so it is very easy to travel on.

Playing sport is necessary because it brings about physical strength and mental power to the person involved in this on regular basis. Outdoor sports such as football, cricket, volleyball, hockey, running, etc help in improving physical health and mental fitness. However, some indoor games and sports brain games, chess, Sudoku, etc improve mental power and concentration level.

Sports and games are very beneficial to us as they teach us punctuality, patient, discipline, teamwork and dedication. Being involved in the sports activities helps us in getting protected with numerous diseases such as arthritis, obesity, heart problems, diabetes, etc.

Moreover, playing sports will reduce the pressures in our life, at school and relieve stress after a long day. For these reasons, I think we should spend our time playing outdoor sports such as football, badminton, basketball and ect to prevent the health issues and have a healthy life.

First, everybody has to do their share of the household chores. For example, my mother cooks meals everyday, my father mends things around the house in his free time, my elder sister washes clothes and I usually clean the house. Second, I and my sister have to prepare meals. I think so. Because, my mother cooks meals and we should help her. It is a service which we express deep gratitute to mom. And my father will be happy if the meals are ready on the table by the time he gets home. During the school year, I'm not allowed to watch TV or talk on the phone. My parents don't allow me to access the internet for amusement. In fact, I miss them, but I know my parents want me to concentrate on studying. It's good for me. Next, whenever problems come up, we must discuss them frankly and find solutions quickly, or before making an important decision. I had to be allowed by my parents. The most important rule is frankness. All members have to speak honestly so that we can believe in each other. All in all, family rules are necessary.
