Last summer, my classmates and I had a trip to Vung Tau, and it was a fun trip for us. Vung Tau is about 3 hours by motorbike from Ho Chi Minh City, so we gathered at 5 am in front of the school gate in order to arrive at the destination early. The road to Vung Tau has a lot of beautiful scenery, and we stopped at some places forests and grasslands to take some pictures. We arrived there at about 9 o'clock. After checking in at the hotel, our headed to the famous lighthouse in Vung Tau to enjoy the beautiful the sight, then we ate some typical dishes of Vung Tau yogurt and boiled eggs. At noon, we returned to our hotel rooms before heading out to the beach in the afternoon. The beach in Vung Tau was cleaner and less crowded than in previous years, so we had a relaxing time by the sea. The boys hosted a swimming competition, while the girls spent most of their time photographing and strolling along the beach. We divided the group into two teams to play volleyball, and the losing team had to pay for dinner. My team won, so I'm very excited to have a free seafood party. We ate at a market, and all of the seafood there was very fresh and tasty. I ate a lot of different dishes such as shrimp, crabs, fish, squid, etc., and the happiest thing was I do not have to pay for them. After eating, we rode our motorbikes around Vung Tau to watch the night life and enjoy the fresh air of the sea. The next morning we had breakfast with Banh Khot - a famous dish of Vung Tau. At 12 o’clock, we checked out at the hotel and went to some other beautiful places to take pictures before heading back to Saigon. I was a bit tired of traveling for a long way, but having a fun trip with my friends made me feel really happy.

Bãi biển ở Vũng Tàu sạch và ít đông đúc hơn những năm về trước, vì thế chúng tôi đã có một khoảng thời gian thư giãn bên bờ biển. Các bạn nam thì tổ chức một cuộc thi bơi lội, trong khi các bạn nữ dành phần lớn thời gian để chụp ảnh và tản bộ dọc bờ biển. Her music is not always my taste, but it is indeed exceptional. Some songs are fiction, some are dialogues of inner monsters, of God, of devil. I take it more as musical surrealism and joy of expressing the weirdness than anything else. The way she sings, the effects and instruments are well manufactured and unusual.

My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty pink house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the necessary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contains many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.

Now I am a last year student of university, and I am about to become a real adult once I graduate. I study at a private university of Ho Chi Minh City, and I am major in Business Administration. My temporary plan at the moment is to finish the last semester with flying colors to be qualified to do the graduation thesis. Then I will make the best thesis that one student can ever make to get a really good result in my certificate. After that, I will sign up to be an intern at a suitable company for about three months to get real life experience as well as a chance to work in a good company. The internship will not get me any money, but I have a little saving since when I had a part time job, so I think those three months without salary will not challenge me. My long term plan is to find a suitable job that relating to my major, and I really want to work in an international enterprise. To achieve that goal, I intend to participate in some professional English training courses as an assistant besides my major. If the internship requires me to have further knowledge and skills, I will also sign up to some more necessary classes. All of my roommates will leave after we graduate, so I need to find a new room; and that will be my home for a long time. The reality after I finish my student life might be very harsh and challenging, and I have to admit that I am a little afraid of it. However, with my determination and effort, I believe that I can have a bright future.

Individual has their own dream; therefore we always set plan for what we are going to. I am now freshman studying English linguistic at a university in HCM. I will do IELTS test in the third year so that it will bring me higher job opportunity. I am now practicing English day by day in order to improve listening and speaking skills. Children only learn grammar and writing technique in the school; however, they don’t have a chance to try their best in authentic environment. I am a volunteer for some international meeting hold in Vietnam; therefore I have friendly environment to develop and discover my potential. It helps them be more confidence, responsible and independent in life. Teacher and school teach student basic knowledge, one must attend the outside world and learn from real experience. I intend to learn teaching method as my dream is becoming an English teacher one future day. I always hope to teach student living in isolated area so as to bring knowledge to all parts of my country. Therefore, I increase my effort to finish academic program as well as acquire social skill. As English and language are necessary in modern society, I always choose to pursue my dream to become a professional English teacher.
