Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. Olympia is one of my favorite TV show. This is a television knowledge contest for high school students. It is always shown on VTV 3 at 13 o'clock every Sunday. Candidates are the best students in the country. MC is quite charming and beautiful lady. The program also has a team of consultants who are experienced teachers. In the program, there are 4 competitions, which in turn is the start, the obstacle, accelerate and the goal. Every competition is very interesting and exciting, it requires students not only knowledge from books but also social knowledge. Contestants do not only have knowledge but also must have both brave and self-confidence. The students, parents go cheer for the contestants are very enthusias. In the contestants, competitor that I most is Lam Vu Tuan, he is very talented and funny. My biggest dream is to study well and paripate in the program compete for knowledge.

Trong các thí sinh dự thi, em thích nhất anh Lâm Vũ Tuấn, anh rất giỏi và vui tính. Ước mơ lớn nhất của em là học tập thật giỏi và tham gia chương trình, tranh tài kiến thức.

hello, everyone! I am Thang. I would to present to you about my favorite TV program. My favorite TV program is Hello Jadoo - a famous program. I this program because it is very funny and entertaining. It's on Disney Channel at 5pm from Tuesday to Saturday every week. I always watch it . This program is about a cute girl, funny and intelligent but quite lazy and friends good-hearted, genial of jadoo. Through cartoon, I developed communication skills, perseverance and life skills. I wish cartoon will premiere viewers or more episodes and more meaningful. Well that’s it from me. Thanks very much!

Hàng năm, Tết cổ truyền có lẽ là ngày lễ lớn nhất từ lâu đời trong phong tục tập quán của người Việt Nam. Tết cổ truyền thực sự có ý nghĩa quan trọng trong tiềm thực của người Việt. Thứ nhất, ngày tết cổ truyền chính là đánh dấu kết thúc một năm cũ và đón chào một năm mới, một khởi đầu mới. Vào lúc này, mọi sự cũ, buồn phiền trong cuộc sống sẽ bị gạt qua một bên và mọi người cùng nhau đón năm mới sang, một sự khởi đầu mới cho vạn vật, vạn việc được tốt đẹp và thuận lợi. Thứ hai, ngày tết cổ truyền chính là ngày tết đoàn viên. Vào ngày này, anh em con cháu tụ họp về 1 nhà sau bao tháng ngày để cùng nhau sum họp, ăn những mâm cơm tình thân. Thứ ba, tết cổ truyền mang ý nghĩa của sự hiếu thảo. Khi tết sang, bàn thờ phải là nơi được dọn dẹp sạch sẽ nhất, khang trang nhất để thể hiện được sự tôn kính của con cháu đối với ông bà tổ tiên của mình. Tóm lại, ngày tết cổ truyền của VN mang ý nghĩa của một sự khởi đầu mới cũng như những giá trị tinh thần truyền thống tốt đẹp khác của thế hệ trước.

Ancestor worship is a beautiful tradition of Vietnamese people on Tet holiday. All family members will gather together to worship, reminisce about their ancestors and wish good luck for a brand new year. During the first three days of the year, Vietnamese people wish good luck to each other and lucky money is given to children by older family members. These red envelopes embody the best wishes for children’s health and intelligence. First footing is a unique and meaningful tradition during Lunar New Year. Every Vietnamese family will choose someone with humour, generosity and elegance to be the first visitor. We believe that the first-foot represents how our next year will be. Lion dance was previously limited to sacred places temples, pagodas etc. Nowadays, it could be performed in public places for general audience. Lion dance is an exciting and joyful activity to welcome a happy and successful year.

Tet is a traditional holiday of our country Vietnam.
The season of Tet occurs around the biginning of February and end of Janaurỵ The meaning of Tet is ending old year and welcome a new year. Tet holiday is very special for Vietnamese families to reunite. At that time, all family members try to come back their homes and get together to prepare for Tet. Moreover they will buy new clothes and clean their house. A branch of Mai flower or a Kumquat tree can't be absent from every home. They bring a fresh atmosphere to the house. We decorate ancestral altar with a tray full of fruits and flowers.
Some typical Tet's food such as sweets, coconut jam, candied fruits, lemon seeds, rice cake , "thit kho"( stew pork with eggs). A special food can not absent is sticky rice cake.. It is our country's traditional food on Tet holiday. Tet meal is more dilicious than our every day.
On Tet holiday, people have many typical activities. Young persons takes part in the traditional games such as: tug; cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. A dults will give lucky money for children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things will come to their familỵ
In my oppinion, i like cozy and fresh Tets atmosphere. All member of family talk together about a happy new year. I can hang out with my friend and don't worry about any thịng

TET in Vietnam was the big celebration for the country. In those days every village, the house, everyone off work and fun way to reunite. Tet there is a divinity and the opportunity to refresh everything. The day he finished the regular crops, the villagers made heaven and earth Thanksgiving. SPRING people share the joy of warm, giving each other gifts to wish one another a new year and everything is the custom and many other means.
Vietnamese people celebrate Tet with TET is a sacred trust on reunification, a new day, that day is a day of thanksgiving and hope.
Days of Being Together - SPRING is always on reunification of families. No matter who trade, work or attend school in the remote, they often try to save money and time to celebrate with the family. That's a wish that all people, as well as people who go far in the festival are expected to meet and hang out with family.
SPRING is also the day to reunite with those who were lost. Dinner the night from 30, before midnight, Buddhist families were invited to burn incense to the deceased grandparents and their ancestors who died of fun to eat with the children SPRING grandchildren.
SPRING day or they also perform rituals, to offer incense to the gods according to legend was blessed our family is more healthy, more money, more luck and happiness in past.

Vietnam is famous for its several holiday and festival, especially Tet holiday. It takes place from the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar until at least the third day. Although occurring in short period of time, it is believed to be the most important and popular holiday in Vietnam. There are many special food are made so as to prepare for Tet meal such as: sky square cake, Vietnamese sausage, sky rice and jam. The food is thought to reflect Vietnam’s habit and custom as well as Vietnamese’s lifestyle. Besides, the meal has other dishes fish, vegetable to show the hope for a successful and prosperous new year. In term of customs, children’s receiving red envelop from the elder, visiting relative’s houses and going to church are popular activities. Giving lucky money is thought to bring children hope and health. Church is the symbol of peace; therefore, individual go there and pray for successive year. Traditionally, the house is designed with peach flower in the North and Ochna integerrima in the south part of Vietnam. Besides, the house as well as town are clear, decorative and beautiful as all are ready to start a new year. People have cozy atmosphere and enjoy joyful time with their family’s members. It’s high time for people living at different parts of country gathering and spending time together. Tet is a chance for one to come back home after many stress and pressure of studying and working environment. Tet is not simply a holiday, it is culture and habit of Vietnamese since its deep meaning is sacred and important. All in all, Tet includes not only joy but also long-standing event in people’s soul as it helps one grow up through experience.

Some weeks before New Year, the Vietnamese clean their houses and repaint the walls.They also buy new clothes.One or two days before the festival, people make banh chung - the traditional cakes,and other goodies. On the New Year Eve, whole family for reunion dinner. Every members of the family should be present during the dinner. On the New Year morning, the young members of family pay their respect to the elders. In return they receive lucky money wrapped in red tiny envelopes. Then people go to visit their neighbors,some friends and relatives.

Ha Long Bay is natural wonder in Quang Ninh. From Ha Noi to Ha Long Bay about 170 km. You can go there by bus, motobikes, cars, est. In there, you can see many islands. It's very big. And you can also see many boats. There're visited the islands. We take the photos with islands. It's convenient to buy seafood. It's so good. Go there, you should visit Tuan Chau island. It's the biggest island in Ha Long Bay. It's modern and noisy. Everybody make it noisy. But there are many buildings around the island. And there are many flowers and trees for natural lovers. It's so great! I love Ha Long Bay very much and it's very very and very beautiful natural wonder in Quang Ninh, Viet Nam and the world!
All of the special holidays in my country, I Tet the most. Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. Before Tet holiday, Everyone prepares many things and decorates their house. I plant a lot of flowers in front of my house and buy many things such as clothes, foods ...
Besides, most of the streets also are decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spends more time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues.
