In recent decades, there is a sharp increase in the number of people taking part in volunteering on account of some wonderful benefits that voluntary work can bring us as follows. In the first place, volunteering is beneficial to both mental and physical health. It has been shown that people will enjoy higher life satisfaction when being helpful to others, which allows them to get rid of stress, anxiety and depression. Secondly, volunteering builds a strong relationship among humans. It is easy to make friends with the same hobbies or purposes. That is why voluntary work is the perfect opportunity for people who are so shy and afraid of connecting with other people. Last but not least, people can gain work experiences and better career development. Such life skills can be gain through this activity as teamwork, problem-solving, time-management. Volunteering gives people free chances to try out new fields, testing new jobs to find the most suitable one in the future. To conclude, there are numerous personal benefits that people can gain by doing the volunteer work so it is encouraged that people should spend some free time to take part in this meaningful activity.

It was a beautiful gift that my grandfather gave me on the day I turned 10.My watch takes the shape of a mischievous, adorable Doraemon cat. The watch put on blue is beautiful. Inside are the numbers from one to twelve arranged in a lovely circle, in the correct order. When the watch battery woke up, it was time for the race of the three brothers to start.Kim is the oldest, the stubby one so he runs the slowest. The two minute hands are slightly smaller than the hour hands, so the speed is faster. But the winner is always the fast nim. The three brothers also had a neighbor who was an alarm friend. This friend helps me not to be late for class. Behind Doremon's back are two control buttons. An alarm button, a button to adjust the time. Every time the battery refuses to work, I ask my dad to open a small cover behind the cat to replace the battery of my new friend. Every weekend when I was on vacation, I brought my watch to clean.I will keep the watch very carefully so that it will always be a good friend, accompany me on the way to study.

And the round, white watch face looks very harmonious and eye-catching. The numbers on the clock are marked with roman numerals so I know what time it is, what time it is. These numbers are dark black, even nearsighted friends can still see clearly. This watch is made of very solid hard plas. But if it is dropped it may be broken. That's why I take care of my watch, keeping it safe and not dropping it.
At the back of the watch is a support for the watch to keep it balanced, not to fall backwards. Above all, at the back of this watch is a battery case. With just one push, you can easily remove and replace the battery. This battery is a temporary battery, when it runs out of battery, I will replace it with a new one.
Every morning at 6 am the clock will sound loudly wake me up. This is the familiar sound I hear every day. Sometimes I hate this sound because it wakes my sleep. But sometimes I thank her because of that I didn't come to school late.

I am a volunteer so I have done many things for the community service. Last month, I raised money and funds for the poor, and they were very hapy. I also donated books and clothes for the children. Last week, I provided houses and food for the homless, and they looked very happy, too. So far, I , and my classmates, have planted trees and beautiful flowers in the school yard. It was so great. I have collected the rubbish on the beach and in the sea then I recycle them. It helps protectthe environment. And I, together with my family, often go to the hospital to help every one there. They are so freindly and they seem very happy when they see us. Volunteering is very good and special to me 'cause I can help others. I 'll do more in the future.

Some people say that they like living in the countryside, the others like living in the city. In my point of view, I prefer living in the countryside for a number of benefits. First of all , It is a quiet and peaceful place. There are a lot of plant species so the air and the food are fresh and clean. We can enjoy a healthy natural condition without worrying much about environmental pollution. We are free to admire the breathtaking landscapes such as huge meadows, peaceful hills or forests. We can also enjoy walking in the forest and picking mushrooms or hunting. Second, There aren't any huge blocks of flats, modern skyscrapers and bothersome traffic jams in the countryside so the air is not polluted. There is no water pollution, either. Moreover, living in the countryside is cheaper than it is in the city, so you can buy many hings at lower prices. The other positive side is the safety. In the rural area the crime rate is much lower. There aren't a lot of housebreaks of burglary and robbery. In the countryside people usually and keep eyes on neighbour's estates. They always react when something strange is happening. Finally, most of the villagers are friendly and hospitable. They are always willing to help each other. Moreover, people in the cities are very susceptible to stress because of pollution, the pressure of work, competitions, etc. In summary, Living in the countryside has many advantages because of fresh air, clean food, specially the people’s friendliness and hospitality.

Energy is very important in our daily life. We use energy for almost everything we do. However energy is limited. We should do the following things to save energy. In the future, I would like to live in a better world. First and for most, there will be no homeless people, no poverty and social vices. All people will have jobs and income to live on their own. As a result, the rate of unemployment will decrease. Secondly, people in the world will live in peace, no war, no violence and inequality. All nations will join hands to build a whole new world. Furthermore, the world’s citizens will utilize environment friendly equipment. Instead of burning fossil fuels for energy, people use alternatives like wind and solar power. Electric vehicle will replace nowadays vehicle to reduce air pollution, electricity will be generated by wind, solar panels or wave without damaging the environment. Besides, modern systems of public transport run by electricity will be developed to stop congestions and with higher speed,they can help people to commute faster and attract them to use more. And last but not least, I’d like my world to be friendly to nature. More trees and flowers will be grown everywhere, deforestations will disappear and the endangered species will be protected thoroughly. Although my wanted world seems to be difficult to achieve, but I believe that when we join hands and make efforts, nothing is impossible

Technology has been progressing at a great rate over the past few decades. I think that in a few centuries, the world will be very different.
Perhaps, in the year 3021, the world will be entirely computerized. Every household will have a mainframe which linked to all other systems. Adults don't have to go to work and children need not to go to school as everything can be done at home. Probably, by then, humans will not even have to take food in the form of meat, vegetables and rice to survice. Tablets containing the ideal proportion of the essential nutrients will be enough for us.
Robots could become so cheap that every household could afford a few of them. Life will be easy and comfortable will all the household chores being done by the robots. Visiting relatives during New Year will not be nessary any more. All that the Vietnamese need to do is switch on the mainframe and exchange greetings through the big screen. Children could still get their "ang pows", but not directly. The money will be credited to their bank accounts using the mainframe.
I think in the year 3021, people will use energy from nature like solar energy, wind, hydrogen instead of coal and oil. All these changes are just my own idea of what life in the future could be like.
I wonder if they will come true.
