In my opinion, the Internet has three major drawbacks. Firstly, when you surf the Internet, your personal information, such as name, address and account can be accessed by hackers. For instance, if you use credit cards to shop online, your card information can be stolen, and then money in your account may be used up. Secondly, pornography is another serious issue, especially for teenage users. Due to the easy access to pornographic websites, teenagers may be incited to act out sexually. According to Dr. Jennings Bryant, 31 percent of male and 18 percent of female high school students admitted imitating some acts in pornography. Lastly, computers with Internet connection are likely to be infected with viruses which disrupt their normal function. It is hard to prevent virus infection although we use anti-virus programs. To sum up, information leakage, negative influences of pornography on teenagers and virus threat are three main disadvantages of using the Internet.

We live in an age when many parents allow their children to use smartphones soon. As far as I am concerned, children using smartphones when they were young can be bad, those kids could have reduced eyesight, and furthermore, they increase the risk of brain cancer highly, so bad for their health! Anyway, on the internet, there are a lot of complicated problems and bad parts who could hack pieces of information about your children, extremely dangerous if kids are not careful. Parents' views on the matter, they let kids use phones cause they want them to serve the purpose that studying or some parents do it just to make their kids stay away from bothering their parents. Some kids don't perceive the limits on time to use phones, they may use them almost during the day. Besides children's health effects, by using smartphones so much, the kids couldn't play in outdoor activities, so they won't be so vivacious, and difficult to make friendships with others. Long story short, children can study, entertain, contact, etc with their phones. It is so good if they know how to use phones in a limited time and carefully using. However, using smartphones can have negative impacts, pay attention to your children, and don't let them have those impacts.
