= 2(x - y)(x + y) + x2 - 2xy + y2

= 2x2 - 2y2 + x2 - 2xy + y2

= (2x2 + x2) - 2xy + (-2y2 + y3

\(=3x^2-2xy-y^2\)

\(=\left(x-y\right)\left(3x+y\right)\)

=\(\dfrac{x+100}{x\left(x+100\right)}-\dfrac{x}{x\left(x+100\right)}\)

=\(\dfrac{x+100-x}{x\left(x+100\right)}=\dfrac{100}{x\left(x+100\right)}\)
