The house in which I lived before was near the railway station. Trains used to pass by at regular interval and I had become so familiar with their sound and sight that I took little interest in them. However, when my father decided to take up a new appointment in the place where we now live, it was decided that we should travel by train. It was only then that I discovered how pleasant a journey by train might be.
My father, mother and I boarded a train one afternoon. As the train moved out of the station, I began to think of the days I had spent in our oldhouse which I could still see from the train. But soon the house went out of sight, and I began to think of my journey itself.

I had a trip to Da Lat with my classmates in three days last year on the summeroccasion. The trip was started at 9 am, we travelled by plane. I felt so happy becauseI believed that I would have a good time with my friends. We arrived in Da Lat at 11 am.We had lunch, and then prepared for the camp-fire at night. In the afternoon,we climbed the Langbiang mountain and took many pictures. We stood in a circle-around the camp-fire, and had a lot of activities with ethnic minority people such as:performing dances, singing, drinking wine, etc.The second day, we visited the church. We took some pictures together andbought some souvenirs. In the last day, we came to the Golden Valley. At the end of the trip, we felt this place was wonderful and exciting and had lots of beautiful scenery and wonderful natural scenery. After the trip I learned that there are many places to explore and enjoy life better because life is very short so people have to thoroughly enjoy not to waste life. Maybe my house is the place where i love the best. It's located on Chi Lang street near central Hue City. My house is quite wide, its area is approximetaly 90 square metres. It can impress you at first sight when your first look. My house is surrounded by a the beautiful garden, the front garden is built quite meticulously and suitable for my father's hobby. Here is the place my in my house that my father likes the best because the garden is the place where my father can plants tress and flowers which he loves. Besides, it has a aquarium where i can feed the fishs. The back garden is the place where my mother hang out the washing. it is not as beautiful as the front garden. The garden brings to my house a natural and peaceful atmosphere. My house has 2 floors and one terrace, its surface is painted bygreen and looks very bright and charming. On the first floor, there are three rooms: a living-room, a kitchen and a bathroom. When you come in, the first room you can see is the living-room where my family receive welcomes guests, it is painted by a beautiful colour. An ancient sofa and a tea-table with a tea tray on it are arranged quite tidu in the middle of the room. It has a gaudy abstract picture is hung on the wall, below the picture is a quite big Television with modern Video cassette recorder. Besides, on the ceiling has a gaudy lights which are very beautiful. These things which bring to the room a luxurious atmosphere. Next to the living rooms is the kitchen, where place my mother loves the best because she very likes cooking. It is fitted filled with all modern conveniences such as: a smoke-comsumer, a sideboard, automatic gas oven ,and so on. These things are arranged very tidy, moreover it's a place where my family has family meal together. And behind the kitchen is the bathroom, the bathroom are quite clean wide room and very modern. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms: my parent's bedroom and mine. My bedroom is qutie wide, the walls are painted by the green - the colour is appropriate suited (to) for my hobby. It also has a Television and Video cassette recorder are putted in the corner. There are two windows, it provide the light for the room and make the room to be more airy. Especsially, my bedroom is quiet, it is an advantage for me when I study. My parents's bebroom is also quite wide, it has a bookshelf of my father because he very likes reading books. In addition, it has a luxurious dressing-table of my mother, she often uses it when she go out home. The family room is between my parent's bedroom and mine, it not only is a place my family relax but also where my family confide together after stressful working and stuying. And the other place in my house is the terrace, it has a balcony facing Chi Lang street and a row of bench near the balcony where my family often sits there to see the sunset. In summary, my house is the place I love the best. Here I can study and relax, I can see my parents everyday and confide to with them.

My best friend is Lan. We have known each other since we were 10 years old. However we became best friends when we were at grade 7. At that time I was very bad at English and it was who helped me improve my English. Now she lives with her parents in Nguyen Trai street.
If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. She has long black hair a straight nose and a small pointed chin. She is quite slim. She doesn t like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T - shirt. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humour but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice.
What I like about Lan is that she has same hobbies with me. We both enjoy singing karaoke reading comic books and going shopping. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can t agree on which movie to see. In addition since I am better in Maths and Chemistry and she is better in English and languages we can always help each other if we get confused about a difficult homework assignment. We are so lucky that we get along so well. I hope that our friendship can last long.

Two years ago, I went to Sam Son beach with my family. It was a beautiful day with sunshine everywhere. When I went swimming, suddenly, the cloud became dảk, the wind blew so roughly, the waves were higher than usual. I anxiously backed to the seaside with my parents. Then, we were back to the hotel. At the hotel, my cousin with I played extremely fun card games. I won a lot of money. It was an unforgettable holiday. <3

We decided to go camping on Sunday. The weather TV said the weather would be nice. So we decided to go for a walk. Because we were on a trip near the mountains and had nothing to do. so a picnic is in my plan. I will go with my family. But that day, it was cloudy again and it looked like it was going to rain. So we could only climb the nearest mountain top and eat rushed when the rain started to fall. We went back to our camp. The camp was canceled but the feeling of lying down and listening to the rain was quite good.
