As I approach the island on which my dream house awaits, I catch a quick
glimpse of it. It is huge, and is the most noticeable building in the area. My
private plane lands on the air strip next to the house. I get out of the plane
and start my journey through a heavily wooded path leading to my dream house.
I walk with anxiety toward the house at which I will spend the rest of my life.
All around me lie the most beautiful trees and plants you have ever seen. It
is peaceful but you can hear the sounds of birds chirping and small forest
creatures frolicking in the under brush. As I continue to walk along the path
the end starts to appear. I now see my house for the first time up close.
Nothing could have prepared me for the moment I was about to experience.
My house that I designed is all I imagined and more. It is a four story
dream on a huge fifteen acre lot. As I approach the stairs at the entrance to
the house I am surrounded by four columns leading to the most elegant doors I
have ever seen. They are made of mahogany and have a stained glass window in
the center. The handles and the frame is made of brass. As I continue around
the house I come across three windows overlooking the entrance to the house.
There are black shutters on each window. As the porch continues to the south
side of the house I am now looking over the Pacific Ocean. A huge eight foot
picture is facing the same way I am. As I look down and observe the ocean I
see two piers jutting out into the Pacific. On either side of the piers are
huge boulders protecting the coast line from erosion. The house's walls are
made of stucco and it has an old fashion shingles that are a clay color.
As I walk into the back yard I am surrounded by the best things a man
could ever want. Well not quite everything! But a lot of things. I walk
toward the road and I first come across a basketball court. To the left of the
basket ball court is a tennis court. There is a bar in between the two to take
a break at between games. On the opposite side of the yard there is an in
ground swimming pool that is connected to the pool inside the house. As my
journey comes to a close I notice a white gazebo off to the east of the house.
It is in a position such that you can see anyone entering or leaving the lot if
you are sitting in it.
As my plane leaves to go home to pack I take one last look at the house.
I think to myself, "Yes this is my dream house, My dream house."

Of all my needed things, my laptop is a special object giving me the greatestimpression because it is a present from my parents. Laptop is a very useful toolfor work and study so I feel very happy when I got it.My laptop’s monitor is a 15-inch crystal-clear HD screen. It is about 38centimeters in length and 20 centimeters in width, which has a box-like shape.The dominant color of it is black with strings of outstanding red letters. I have thelaptop protected by a special cover to protect it from dirt and scratches. I do notdecorate it because I think the original black color is the most attractive. I usuallytake out the battery from the laptop, which is an easy process, to save battery lifeand use the electric source instead.When I was eight years old, my parents bought me a computer so I can learnhow to utilize modern technology as a tool for my studying. However, when I waspresented laptop, I realized that a laptop is much more portable and convenientthan a computer. Winter is my favourite season. I love everything about it. I like the cold weather, which always makes the sky seem so blue. I also like being able to see my breath in the cold air. In summer, it's difficult to keep cool outside, but in winter, it's easy to keep warm. I really like hiking in winter. The cold really makes you feel alive. It's also great getting home to a nice warm room. Winter also has the besst holidays. I love getting together with my family and then celebratiing the New Year. Winter is a really good time to go on vacation because the sights are usually empty. I love winetr so much although it's the most draconic season in a year.

Và trong tất cả các bộ phim tôi đã xem, "Chòm sao của đom đóm" là một trong những bộ phim hoạt hình mà tôi thích nhất. Trong tiếng Việt nó được gọi là "Có thể ham đom đom" hoặc "Mo đôm đôm". Đó là một câu chuyện bi thảm về hai đứa trẻ trong chiến tranh. Nó được sản xuất từ Nhật Bản bởi studio Ghibli, đạo diễn và viết kịch bản bởi Takahata Isao. Hello, everybody! My name is Thao. Today I am here to present to you about Favorite TV shows. I very watching cartoons. And of all the film I have seen, “Grave of the fireflies” is one in the cartoons which I most. In Vietnamese it’s called is “Can ham đom đom” or “Mo đom đom”. It’s a tragic story about two childents in the war. It’s made from Japan by Ghibli studio, directed and written by Takahata Isao. It is based on a nover of Nosaka Akiyuki. It’s written as a apologize to his sister. With Japanese, this film is understand as a fable about the respect. Film is been in historical background at the end of the seconds world war from Japan. Film tells a painful story but moving to brothers sentiment of two orphanages : Seita and Setsuko. They lost mother after a fierce bombing of American air force to Kobe city while their father combat for Japanese navy. So Seita and Setsuko must to struggle to exist between the famine and the resistance to merciless of surrounding people (that have their kinship). They have to live in a shelter-pit and often eat frogs and lizards. At the end, Setsuko have to die for hunger, pictures depict painfulness and the death of little girl can be considered as the most mournful film pictures in the cartoon Japan history. When everybody, who had seen this film are asked, most of them said they cried, and that have me.That brings me to the end of my presentation. Many thanks for your attention!

Everyone has one’s favorite pet. As for me, I very love my dog named Pull. The dog is an Alaska dog with straight brown hair, blue eyes and big ear. He is said to be intelligent, loyal and obedient. Moreover, Pull is friendly and well-trained when I said “sit down” or “run around” he will do absolutely true. I remember the first day I have met Pull-my 12 birthday, he is a present given by my father. At that time, Pull was 2 years old, he was small and unfamiliar with my family’s members. Nowadays, he is an adult dog with good health and he seems to be one important member of my whole family. Pull and I usually have wonderful time together we eat, go shopping, walk in the sunrise and sunset, and play in a local park. As I’m the only child in my family, Pull is my best friend. Whenever I have trouble or whatever mistake I do, I always have him by my side. Although he is not able to talk, I feel the love and caring of him for me. Besides, Pull helps my mother much in household, he can hold a heavy bucket of water. Dog is not food; therefore I condemn the action of stealing dog by killing them with electricity in VN and selling it for some taverns. Dog is an animal for people to feed, love and care. Dog is not a product of any individual who wants to earn illegal money from it. Finally, it’s better for a house with a domes dog so that it brings happiness in addition to keeping your house save.

I really my cat. It's big enough to miss. The ash colored stripes look black zebras. The nose is short but always wet. I to hug it to the heart so that little nose is rubbed on the palm of my hand. It looks a little brother is doing the same. Mummy has a round head, small ears and ears two young leaves always hovering up listening. Its eyes are green and round two marbles. Looks gentle, gentle because of a thick layer of meat under the feet. In the morning light, my cats moth run on the brick yard. At times it spins, joking with its shadow. Như bao đứa trẻ khác, tôi cũng có một gia đình. Một gia đình luôn tràn đầy hạnh phúc. Trong ngôi nhà ấy luôn vọng ra những tiếng cười hồn nhiên, trong sáng những lời hát ru ngọt ngào tình cảm. Và cũng ở ngôi nhà ấy, tôi và em được sống cùng bố mẹ. Mẹ tôi là người mẹ tuyệt vời nhất.

Năm nay, mẹ đã ngoài 30 tuổi, nhưng trong cái tuổi ấy, mẹ vẫn còn đẹp và duyên dáng. Không cao như các cô người mẫu, dáng mẹ vừa và cân đối. Thường ngày mẹ hay bận chiếc quần âu và chiếc áo sơ mi ngắn tay kẻ ô để đi chợ hay đưa bé Thảo đi học…. Còn những giờ lên lóp mẹ mặc những chiếc áo dàu thật mềm mại và duyên dáng. Những chiếc áo dài màu mây, màu ngọc bích, màu cà vàng, màu tím cà, tím huế… làm cho mẹ trẻ hẳn ra đến chục tuổi. Mái tóc đen buông xõa đến ngang lưng rất phù hợp với khuôn mặt mẹ. Đôi mắt bồ câu long lanh luôn chan chứa một tình yêu thương vô hạn. Đặc biệt nụ cười của mẹ tươi như đóa hoa hồng nở buổi sớm mai, để lộ hàm răng trắng đều. Các cô trong trường thường trêu mẹ có nụ người chết người và làn da trắng mịn đên mê hồn. Mỗi lần ngôi bên mẹ tôi vẫn thường mân mê bàn tay của mẹ. Năm ngón tay thon dài như búp măng, mềm mại và mỏng manh không khác gì ngón tay của các cô gái mười tám đôi mươi. Bàn tay trăng trảo xinh ấy đã chăm sóc dìu dắt chị tôi trong một tình thương bao la không bờ bến. Có lần bố tôi hỏi nửa đùa nửa thật “Sao em không làm nghề khác mà lại chọn làm nghề giáo?” Mẹ mỉm cười rồi nhìn thẳng vào mắt bố “Bởi em yêu nghề giáo, yêu anh và yêu hai đứa con của em”. Quả thật mẹ rất yêu nghề, tận tâm với nghề và rất thương yêu chồng con. Trong quan hệ với mọi người, mẹ cư xử rất đúng mực. Đối với đồng nghiệp mẹ sống chan hòa, trung thực và khiêm tốn. Mẹ luôn học hỏi những kinh nghiệm hay của các thầy cô đi trước và luôn rộng lượng bao dung với những thầy cô trẻ. Chính vì vậy mà các thầy cô trong trường ai cũng đều yêu quý mẹ. Đối với con cái mẹ rất yêu thương và ân cần chăm sóc những đêm tôi hay bé Thảo sốt mẹ cứ thao thức hết sờ tay lại sờ trán, lại phe phẩy chiếc quạt nan, thay khăn đắp trán… đến lúc tình dậy vẫn thấy mẹ ngồi đó… Còn đối với bố, mẹ quan tâm nhiều lắm, những ngày bố về trễ chả thiết ăn uống gì vào giường đi ngủ. Mẹ tôi bưng cơm vào đỡ bố dậy, năm nỉ bố ăn. Ông bà tôi đã già, trong cái tuổi như đèn treo trước gió, vẫn luôn tự hào vì có một người con hiếu thảo như mẹ. Quả thật vậy mẹ rất quan tâm, cố gắng đền đáp phần nào công thức nuôi dạy của ông bà nội từ nhỏ. Từ nhỏ, bó tôi hay công tác xa nhà vì vậy chị em tôi một bàn tay mẹ nuôi nấng, chăm sóc.
Từng ngày, từng giờ chúng tôi sống trong sự ân cần chăm sóc của mẹ. Mẹ đối với chị em tôi là tất cả.

Trong gia đình, vì em là con út nên ai cũng thương yêu em hết mực, nhưng mẹ là người gần gủi, chăm sóc em nhiều nhất.
Năm nay, mẹ em gần bốn mươi mốt tuổi. Với thân hình mảnh mai, thon thả đã tô đậm cho mẹ với vẻ đẹp của người mẹ hiền từ, mái tóc đen óng mượt mà dài ngang lưng được mẹ thắt lên gọn gàng khi ra đường. Đôi mắt mẹ đen láy luôn nhìn em với ánh mắt trìu mến gần gũi. Khuôn mặt mẹ hình trái xoan với làn da trắng. Đôi môi mỏng đỏ hồng nằm dưới chiếc mũi cao thanh tú làm cho càng nhìn càng thấy đẹp. Khi cười nhìn mẹ tươi như hoa, đóa hoa hồng vừa nở sớm mai. Đôi bàn tay mẹ tròn trịa, trắng trẻo đã nuôi nấng, dìu dắt em từ thưở em vừa lọt lòng. Giọng nói của mẹ đầy truyền cảm, lúc mượt mà như tiếng ru, lúc ngân nga như tiếng chim họa mi buổi sớm. Mẹ em may và thêu rất đẹp, đặc biệt là may áo dài, thường ngày mẹ hay mặc bộ đồ bộ gọn gàng, khi đi dạy học mẹ mặc những bộ áo dài cũng do mẹ tự may trông thật duyên dáng, sang trọng.
Ở nhà, mẹ là người đảm nhiệm công việc nội trợ. Mẹ giao cho em các công việc nhẹ nhàng như: quét nhà, gấp quần áo… Còn ba thì phụ mẹ giặt đồ, dọn dẹp nhà cửa sạch sẽ, thỉnh thoảng mẹ mua hoa về chưng ở phòng khách cho đẹp nhà. Mỗi khi khách đến mẹ luôn đón tiếp nồng hậu, mời khách đĩa trái cây và nước mát. Sáng mẹ là người thức dậy sớm để chuẩn bị thức ăn sáng cho cả nhà, để hai anh em cùng cắp sách đến trường kịp giờ học. Khi em ốm đau mẹ phải thức suốt đêm để chăm sóc. Buổi tối, mẹ thường dành khoảng ba mươi phút để giảng bài cho em, sau đó mẹ ngồi chấm bài, soạn giáo án chuẩn bị cho tiết lên lớp ngày mai ở trường… Mẹ rất nhân hậu, hiền từ, khi lên lớp mẹ xem học trò như các con của mình, cũng dìu dắt thương yêu hết mực nên mẹ được rất nhiều học sinh yêu mến. Khi em phạm lỗi, mẹ chỉ nhắc nhỡ chứ không mắng và cũng chưa đánh em bao giờ.
Mẹ em thật đáng quí, em luôn yêu thương mẹ và tự hào vì được làm con của mẹ. Mỗi khi được mẹ ôm ấp, nằm trong lòng mẹ em cảm thấy thật ấm áp. Trong trái tim em, mẹ là tất cả, mẹ là cô tiên tuỵêt vời nhất trong cuộc đời em… Em mong sao cho mình mau lớn để có thể giúp cho mẹ đỡ vất vả hơn. 3) Van Mieu (The Temple of Literature) was constructed in 1070 during Ly Thanh Tong's dynasty. Its original purpose was to honor Confucius. In 1076, the first university of Vietnam called Quoc Tu Giam (The Imperial Academy), was established within this temple by Emperor Ly Nhan Tong. That's the reason why the complex has the name of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam up to now. Initially, Quoc Tu Giam was the school for princes and children of royal families and then expanded in the following year to admit top students from around the country.
Nowadays, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam is one of the most famous tourist destinations for both Vietnamese people and foreigners. It's also a place to celebrate doctorates and high ranking scholars of Vietnam. One special thing about this place is that there are 82 Doctors' stone tablets. They are tombstones with names and origins of 1304 doctors placed on the backs of stone tortoises. If you come here at the beginning of the year or in May, when many important examinations take place, you will catch sights of numerous families and students who come and pray for luck.

i taking part in the community service and volunteer work.Last year , our class joined the community service and volunteer work . We did many things . Firstly , we donated books , warm clothes to street children . Secondly , we raised money to buy uniforms, books and pens for poor students in ( ghi tên trường bạn vào ) secondary school . Thirdly, we provided the poor with food and drinks.Fourthly,we cooked free meals for homeless people . Finally , we opened evening classes for street children . In short , i adore these activitives because they help people happier and funnier. They also make a diference in our community service

I have a best friend named Nha, we have been together since we were just little kids. She has beautiful bright skin and big black eyes. We have a lot of things in common, such as we love the same band, food and books. She and I even share the same name, and it is a small surprise for anyone who has talked to us. Nha is not my classmate, but we always help each other with the homework and school projects. We spend every minute in our break time to talk about all the things that happen in class, and people usually ask what can even makes us laugh that hard.Nha sits next to me in class, eats with me at break time, and hangs out with me after school. She has long and beautiful hair; my mother always says that I need to pay more attention to my hair so it can be pretty as hers. I am good at English while Nha is excellent in Math, therefore we can help each other every time one of us has trouble in understanding those subjects.Besides our study, Lan is always by my side whenever I feel upset. I tell her everything, and only her can know my true feelings.Sometimes I think it is we have been best mates since forever, and I hope that we will be happy this for a very long time.

My best friend is someone special whom I can share my all feelings. He is Minh. He lives with me as my neighbour in the same colony. We met each other in the nursery class on the very first day. We sit together in the classroom and share everything very happily without any problem. We know each other very well as well as understand each other’s need. He is leadership in nature, tall, fair in complexion, good looking and smart. She is very good in studies and behaves well with everyone. He does his class work and homework very attentively. He is favourite student of class teacher as he is very punctual and follows all the etiquettes.We share our time in the lunch time. He respects my feelings and helps me always. Many things of us hobbies, s, diss, etc are similar. We love to listen to music, watch cartoons and play carom at home. We take care of each other in the school and playground. We share school copies and help each other whenever one of us remain absent in the school. We love drawing sceneries and arts in our spare time. We go at tour and picnic with our parents together in every winter and summer vacation. I hope we will side by side forever - My Bff
