Duyen is my classmate. her hobby is reading books. She started this hooby for 1 years. Sometime, she go to the bookstore and buy some books. However, she also go to the library and borrow that books. when she read books she fells ralax and interesting and improve her knowledge. It helps she studies better than everyone. I have many hobbies, but I reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabularies by exposing many new words. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tell me about the world's history, let me see the structure of the brain, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activity.

Badminton is one kind of exercising that will make people enjoy it. It’s also good for our health. That’s why, I’m taking badminton as one of my hobby.
Badminton is a very easy game, everyone can play it. In fact, you can play it anywhere with rackets and a shuttlecock. The shuttlecock is made from goose feathers pushed into a small piece of cork. Badminton rackets are very light. They normally weigh from 90 grams to about 110 grams. The smash of the shuttlecock can travel up to 260km per hour.
There are six main shots: the serve, the clear, the drop, the smash, the forehand drive and the backhand drive. The court on which badminton is played is in the shape of a rectangle and is divided in half by a net. There are two or four players, each team is on each side of the net.
Badminton takes its name from the home of the Duke of Beaufort, Badminton House in Gloucestershire, England where the first game of badminton was played.
There are many benefits of playing badminton for our health. It reduces bad cholesterol and increase in good cholesterol and increases the levels of HDL good cholesterol while decreasing the levels of bad cholesterols. When you play badminton, basal heart rate drops a few beats per minute and blood pressure is reduced, which protects you from heart disease. It also can reduce weight for overweigh people and attain optimal weight for their height and age. That’s why it keeps you feeling well, strong, motivated, enthusias and young.
I don’t sports basically, but badminton are special. I have always been enjoying play that. I’d to continue play this sport as my hobby and have fun.

Watching television is my favourite activities I use to do in my free time. I love watching sports programs on Saturday mornings and cartoons on Sunday afternoons. I usually watch movie during all days of week after I have completed my homework at school. At night, I especially enjoy watching situation comedies and movies. If I have a huge number of school work, I try to manage my schedule so that I will able to see at least 1 of my favorite TV shows. Watching TV isn’t the only indoor activity that I can do in my free time. I also have some other favorite activities such as going shopping with my mother or friends and making paper flowers. However, when I have free time, I spend a lot of time on watching TV than other activities. Watching TV can support me not only relax but also build my knowledge about the open world.

A hobby that I enjoy is using the computer. Surfing the internet is what I usually do whenever I have free time.
No one can deny the benefits of Internet. Information resources are probably the biggest advantage that Internet offers to people. Internet is a wonderful source of information. All kind of information on any topic is available on the Internet at anytime. I love searching things on Google. It’s a very useful tool from the Internet, we can know everything with just one mouse click.
Becoming knowledgeable is also a great benefit of using Internet. I spend a lot of time on the Internet for reading news. All latest news is continuously up-to-date on the Internet on various news sites. I often visit E-newspaper websites to read hot daily news. I can know everything such as current issues that happen in this world, what happen to our country, celebrities life, recent fashion, and other news that can enhance my knowledge. I would rather using Internet for updating news because it is available everywhere at anytime.
In conclusion, people increasingly spend their leisure time using Internet because it is a helpful tool where people can learn new things and keep informed of information around the world. Internet turns the world into the speed generation. As the Internet saves us much time, we can have enough time to do other things. The internet is a marvelous creation in this generation.

My hobbies are listening to music, watching films and travelling. I love many kinds of music; especially, when I fill myself with the sorrow, I love the songs which can share my sadness. I also watching some US sitcoms such as: How I met your mother, Once upon a time, Sabrina. Additionally, I enjoy travelling and exploring new places with plentiful cuisines and nature, especially walking along the beach in the dusk that make me comfortable and peaceful.

One of my hobbies is listening to music, especially English songs. My hobby started when I was child. I spend much time on it. I can listening when I am doing my housework such as clean the floor, wash clothes, wash dish…or when I sleep…I love Taylor Swift, Rihana…they are great singers. I can learn English vocabulary when listening to English songs and it also make me feel relaxed.I think it a good hobby and I will never stop it.

I watching TV. I watch it twice a day, in the afternoon and in the evening, when I don't have classes at school. I often watch cartoon with my younger sister. Our favourite channels are Cartoon Network and Disney Channel. Sometimes I watch TV shows and news on VTV3 channel.

I watching TV but I don't watch so much. I watch TV when I don't have classes at school or in my freetime. I usually watch TV with my mother. We often watch news, TV shows and films in VTV1 or VTV3. Sometime, I watch TV with my cousin. Our favorite programme is Courage the Cowardly dog or We Bare Bear in Cartoon Network.

Hi everyone, my name is Thu Hien. I will introduce my family to you. Our family has 4 people including my father, my mother, my younger brother and me. My father is an engineer at a construction site near my home. My father is very busy. He usually had to stand outside all day. So he has a tanned skin. However, one day he still spends time playing with me. My mother is a good housewife. Every day I can eat delicious dishes that I cook. Mother takes care of her family very well. Before I go to bed, my mother usually reads me a story. My brother is 10 years old this year. Very good boy. I often play with him in my free time so my mom can do other things. My hobby is doing shopping, and I think it is a little bit costly. I do not have enough time and money to serve my love for shopping, so I can only spend my weekend wandering at the malls. I looking around the stores and their variety kinds of goods. There are so many colorful things that catch my eyes, such as clothes, shoes, accessories, toys, and other stuffs. Usually I do not by a lot of things; I just remember their brand names and then wait for them to be put on the sale-off section. I have a huge amount of flyers about promoting program at many different malls and stores. It is my other little hobby to collect them, and maybe someday I can have an exhibition about my flyer collection. I have a friend that shares the same love with shopping, and we usually spend our weekend together lingering to look at the stores. My family and friends also ask me to by stuffs for them, because they know I can choose the good ones with reasonable price. I enjoy shopping a lot, and sometimes I am glad that I can help other people with my little hobby.
