Birthday is an occasion of reunion and happiness. This is an occordant opportunity to represent love affair to the one we love. My younger sister's birthday came off on last Sunday, the day on which she turned fifteen. She invited a large number of guests including relatives and friends. My whole family were all busy making preparations for the feast. The party took place outside for all the guests to enjoy fresh air in the evening. The surrounding is covered with plenty of colorful balloons and flashing lights. From 6 p.m the guests began to arrive one by one because the party was to start at 7 p.m. Our family warmly welcomed them at the gate of the house. At exact seven, all people present gathered around the table to sing the chorus"Happy birthday to you" and clap hands. After that my younger sister began to blow out all the candles on the cake. It was a great chocolate birthday cake tastefully decorated with colorful candies and cream. All the guests were served with various candies, biscuits, fruits, cakes, beverages,... The party was full of rejoicement and pleasure with laughters all the time. She received so many meaningful birthday presents that she bursted into tears. After finishing the party, the guests said goodbye to us and returned home. Our family began to clean up and soon got to sleep. It was a hardship day but full of cheerfulness and meaning.

Gia đình mình nồng nhiệt chào đón khách ở cổng nhà. Vào đúng 7 giờ, tất cả mọi người có mặt tập hợp lại xung quang bàn tiệc để hát chúc mừng sinh nhật và vỗ tay. Sau đó em gái mình bắt đầu thổi nến. Đó là một chiếc bánh socola lớn được trang trí đẹp mắt với kẹo và kem đầy màu sắc. Rất nhiều món được bày ra với đầy đủ kẹo, bánh quy, hoa quả, bánh ngọt, đồ uống... Bữa tiệc tràn đầy sự hứng khởi và niềm vui và đầy tiếng cười cả buổi. Em ấy được nhận rất nhiều món quà ý nghĩa đến nỗi đã bật khóc vì hạnh phúc. Sau khi bữa tiệc kết thúc, khách nói lời tạm biệt và ra về. Gia đình mình bắt đầu dọn dẹp và nhanh chóng đi ngủ. Đó là 1 ngày vất vả nhưng tràn đầy niềm vui và ý nghĩa.

Everybody has his own birthday which is considered to be the most important and meaningful day of the year. I just attended a birthday party two days ago. It was my best friend's birthday who turned nineteen that day. It was only a simple party outside with about 10 people present on the occasion. It was not sophisatedly decorated, without any balloons or banners at all. Patio furniture was placed in a corner of the garden for us to throw the party. All the guests were warmly welcomed by the host. We carefully selected a beautiful dress and a bouquet as presents for her birthday. After she blew out the candles, we wished her a prosperous life ahead and then he unwrapped all the gifts. She was extremely cheerful and delighted all the time. After that, we turned on vibrant music and enjoy ourselves at the party. The exciting atmosphere really made us satisfied and contented. After having a good time at the party, we realised it was 10 o'clock and had to return home.

I am 13 years old this year, the equivalent of 13 birthday parties in my life. Out of those 13 birthday parties, the most memorable one for me was my 10th birthday party. That day, my class came, everyone was happy to attend. Birthday party was so fun, with all the laughter and jokes, it seemed like this would become my best birthday party. But in life no one knows anything, I soon noticed the absence of my parents and grandparents. Right after the party was over, my friends were gone, my mother approached me, telling me something horrible that I couldn't imagine. My grandfather suddenly passed away, right in the middle of the time when I was celebrating a birthday party with my friends, because I didn't want to ruin the happy party, she waited until you all left before I told me. At that time, I blamed myself, why did I play around when my grandfather was gone. It's been 3 years since that day, I still remember the day that was imprinted in my heart. The birthday party that year was also my most memorable birthday.

Last Sunday evening, I went to my girlfriend's to attend her twentieth birthday party. When I arrived there, all the guests were gathering in the large living room of her house. In the middle of the room, there was a large table with a big birthday cake and many beautiful flowers on it. At exactly 8 p.m. the hostess announced the reason for the party. Then she blew out the 20 small candles on the cake. She cut the cake into slices, went around the room and gave a piece of cake to each person. Like everybody else, I gave her a nice gift together with my best wishes. After that, we talked, played and sang cheeríỉlly until 11 p. m. At that time her mother came into the room and expressed her sincere thanks to everybody before they left. It was such a pleasant birthday party! I had a good time there.

I can never forget my 17th birthday party at a popular buffet restaurant. It’s our family tradition that we will celebrate the 17th birthday with a big party. On that day, I wore a beautiful white dress and a silver necklace given by my mom. I had invited all of my best friends, my parents had invited our close relatives too. When I came to the restaurant, I saw many balloons and ribbons. The decoration was so lovely, I had nothing to complain about. The party began at 5.30 p.m, people came with a lot of presents and bouquets for me. Because it was a buffet party so we could eat anything we wanted. After one hour, a big birthday cake was brought out with 17 candles on it. My friends and my family sang the “Happy Birthday” song. They were clapping their hands happily when I made a wish and blew the candles. Then everyone gathered to take a photo together. My parents gave me a trip to Sapa as a present for my effort in the previous school year and the trip was an unforgettable memory to me. My family got there in the morning when the weather was cool but it began to become warmer at noon and in the afternoon but in the evening, the outside was quite cold and even having snow at night. It was such an amazing experience that I really enjoyed it. We also went sightseeing and the natural beauty here took my breath away. The romantic and peaceful atmosphere with ranges of mountains surrounded by fog soon made a strong impression on me. I also had an opportunity to try seating on a cable car and enjoyed how breathtaking the view was.That was the first time in my life that I could see mountain, forests and waterfalls with my own eyes.The next day, my mom and I spent time going to the market where many of activities took place and I bought some souvenirs as gifts for my close friend. Especially, I was totally surprised at the ability of speaking English of local residents, especially small children. Besides, I also had a chance to try local food such as Sapa Cap Nach Pork, bamboo sticky rice, Tao Meo Wine… Each has its unique flavors that all satisfied my tastes. Finally my family had to say goodbye to Sapa but I still hope to come back here one day in a nearest future.

Mình cũng có cơ hội được ngồi trên cáp treo và tận hưởng vẻ đẹp đến nghẹt thở của khung cảnh nơi đây. Đó là lần đầu tiên trong cuộc đời mình được tận mắt nhìn thấy núi, rừng và thác nước. Ngày tiếp theo mẹ và mình đã dành thời gian đi chợ nơi có rất nhiều hoạt động diễn ra và mình đã mua đồ lưu niệm để làm quà cho bạn thân. Đặc biệt mình rất ngạc nhiên với khả năng nói tiếng anh của người dân nơi đây, đặc biệt là trẻ em nhỏ. Bên cạnh đó mình cũng có cơ hội được thưởng thức đồ ăn đặc sản nơi đây như là thịt lợn cạp nách sapa, cơm lam và rượu táo mèo...Mỗi món ăn có mùi vị riêng và chúng đều hợp với khẩu vị của mình. Cuối cùng gia đình mình phải nói lời chia tay với Sapa và mình có thể quay trở lại nơi đây một ngày nào đó trong một tương lai không xa.

Fiona is my neighbor. She turned twelve recently and her parents held a birthday party for her. I was one of those invited.
The party began at about three in the afternoon. There were about twenty of us children gathered in Fiona's house. We were all dressed in our best clothes. Everyone, especially Fiona, wore a happy smile.
We gave our presents to Fiona and she happily opened them. It must really be exciting to receive all those presents.
After that Fiona's mother served us soft drinks and delicious tidbits. We then played some games "Musical Chairs" and "Treasure Hunt". The winners were given prizes.
At about four-thirty Fiona's mother brought out the birthday cake. It was beautifully decorated with pink and white icing. Twelve colorful candles sat in the middle of the cake. We all sang "Happy Birthday" to Fiona after which she blew out the candles and cut the cake. We clapped out hands eagerly.
We helped ourselves to slices of the delicious cake. Then we continued our games.
Finally at about six in the evening the party came to an end. We were all tired but happy. The parents of the other children came to collect them. I helped Fiona and her mother clean up the mess we made. After that I walked home which was only two doors away.

Today, I am 16 years old, so I hold a birthday party at my house. The party began at 7h p.m and finished at 9h30 p.m on October 15th. I invited a lot of close friends ad intimate friends take part in the party. There is a two layer birthday cake with fifteen candles on the table. After people sang “Happy Birthday” song, I blew out the candles and cut the cake. Everybody ate cake, went to KTV and played mini games together. Finally, my friends returned their home, although they all tired, they felt so happy. Regarding me, I cleaned and washed up the party, then I went to sleep.
