Dear Diary,

Today was a productive day in my mission to reduce plastic waste. I made a conscious effort to make small changes in my daily routine that would have a positive impact on the environment. I even captured some photos to document my progress.

Photo 1: Instead of using plastic bags at the grocery store, I brought my own reusable bags. It felt great to see my groceries neatly packed in these eco-friendly bags. Not only did I reduce plastic waste, but I also saved money by avoiding the extra charge for plastic bags.

Photo 2: During lunchtime, I opted for a homemade meal instead of ordering takeout. I packed my lunch in a reusable container, eliminating the need for single-use plastic containers. It was a delicious and guilt-free meal, knowing that I didn't contribute to the growing plastic waste problem.

Photo 3: In the afternoon, I treated myself to a refreshing iced coffee. Instead of getting it in a disposable plastic cup, I brought my own reusable tumbler to the café. The barista happily filled it up, and I enjoyed my drink without any guilt about adding to the plastic waste stream. Overall, today was a successful day in my journey to reduce plastic waste. These small changes may seem insignificant, but every little effort counts. I hope to inspire others to make similar changes in their daily lives and contribute to a cleaner and greener planet.

Yours sincerely,

Vietnamese people have a simple and balanced eating habit, and I am no exception. We often start our day with a light breakfast, which typically includes a bowl of pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) or a plate of banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) with various fillings such as grilled pork, pate, and fresh vegetables. Some people prefer a simple bowl of sticky rice with a side of pickled vegetables or a steamed bun filled with savory ingredients. For lunch, many Vietnamese people enjoy a hearty meal consisting of rice, a protein source (such as fish, pork, or chicken), and a variety of vegetables. This meal is often accompanied by a bowl of clear soup, such as canh chua (sour soup) or canh rau (vegetable soup). The combination of flavors and textures in a typical Vietnamese lunch provides a satisfying and balanced meal. In the afternoon, it is common for people to have a light snack, such as fresh fruits, yogurt, or a cup of Vietnamese iced coffee. This helps to keep energy levels up until dinner time. Dinner is usually the main meal of the day for Vietnamese people. It is a time for families to gather and enjoy a variety of dishes. A typical dinner may consist of steamed rice, a soup dish, stir-fried vegetables, and a few main dishes such as grilled fish, braised pork, or stir-fried beef. Vietnamese cuisine is known for its emphasis on fresh ingredients, vibrant flavors, and the use of herbs and spices to enhance the taste of each dish. In addition to these main meals, Vietnamese people also enjoy snacking throughout the day. Street food stalls and markets offer a wide range of options, from crispy spring rolls and savory pancakes to grilled skewers and sweet desserts. These snacks are often enjoyed on the go or as a quick bite during breaks. Overall, the eating habits of Vietnamese people revolve around simplicity, freshness, and a balance of flavors. We take pride in our diverse and healthy cuisine, which reflects the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam.

Inventing the future

Imagine you can change the world by asking yourself three questions: What do I love? What am I good at? What do I want to change? What do I want to change?

The Google Science Fair is a competition for teenagers aged 13 to 18. It wants them to create a project by thinking about these questions. Google hopes this competition is going to find the world’s next great scientist.

Brittany Wenger, 17, found a way to improve the accuracy of a cancer- testing computer program. This program is successful about 97 percent of the time. Unlike other similar programs, Brittany’s program is “trained”. When her program does tests, it learns from experience and becomes better. Brittany plans to introduce her invention to hospitals one day. She also volunteers with a group called Made with Code. She shows other girls how they can achieve their dreams through computer programming.

Turkish teenager Elif Bilgin wants to reduce pollution. So, she spent two years doing research on making plastic from other kinds of materials. She wanted to make a new kind of plastic that people can use in everyday life. Now, she found a way to make plastic using banana peels! Some companies are using Elif’s plastic to make artificial body parts. Elif hopes that her plastic is going to replace normal plastic in the future.

Learning English doesn’t always have to mean sitting in the classroom and studying tricky grammar. In fact, English language teachers encourage you to do plenty of extra learning outside of school. There are a number of ways to improve your understanding of the language, many of which can actually be a lot of fun.

It’s also a well-known fact that different people respond to different learning methods. Sometimes simply sitting in the classroom or reading a course book is not right for you. It can be beneficial to do some additional work.So if you’re keen to improve your English (or any other second language for that matter) then consider some of these handy tips to get you on your way. Not everything will work for you but, if you add a few of these ideas to your day-to-day language learning, you’ll certainly see some improvement.

Reading is a great way of practising your English in your own time. You can take one word at a time at your own pace, without your teacher peering over your shoulder. If you’re studying at a beginner to intermediate level, pick up a children’s book where the language will be easier than an adult book. Newspapers are also worth reading. Not only can you improve your English but you’ll learn about local and national goings on, which can be handy when communicating with native speakers. Free newspapers and magazines, as well as tabloid-style newspapers which use more basic language, are perhaps better for low level speakers.

Whenever you learn a new word, whether in the classroom or when you’re out and about, make sure you make a note of it. Whenever you have some free time, you can practise what you’ve learned. You could even do this on your phone so you needn’t carry around a notebook with you.

In addition to learning English in class, you could find somebody who is keen to learn your own language and exchange information with them. Being able to speak a language is a gift and, whatever your mother tongue, there will be somebody out there that wants to learn it. You can meet up and give each other work, swap knowledge and help each other progress. This is a great way of continuing your learning outside of the classroom while also saving money.

Writing is a great way of using new vocabulary and getting your head around grammar. Try and write something every day using new words and grammar that you’ve learned. Even if it’s only a few sentences, it’s very important to get into the habit of doing this. It’s also a good way of comparing your progress as you improve your knowledge of the English language. If you have access to English speaking friends or a teacher, you could ask them to look over your writing and give you some pointers.

English is very necessary and useful for each of us so we need to learn it to improve ourselves. The above are ways to help us boost up our communication with English as well as English writing

I think we need to stay healthy to prevent the flu, keep as healthy as i can by taking good care of myself. Sleep and nutritional considerations are help to prevent the onset of a cold or flu, a healthy lifestyle helps my immune system to be in its best possible shape, giving me the best chance of being able to fight off the onset of a cold or flu.

I need to eat healthily. Healthy foods such as vegetables, fruit, grains, etc., are an important part of keeping my body nutrition at its optimum. Processing fatty and sugary foods don't give the immune-boosting protection that healthier food does. Sugary foods can decrease immune function.

Exercise regularly. Exercise has enhancing immune-system that can help ward off illness. Overdo too much strenuous or excessive can leave me prone to illness, too. I make sure to get adequate sleep every night, get at least seven to eight hours sleep nightly

I need to reduce my stress too. Stress can harm the ability of my immune system to work optimally, and people who are stressed tend to catch colds more than less stressed people. Manage my stress is contributing to prevent the flu. Beside, Drinking water may also help wash cold and flu viruses from my throat to my stomach where they cannot survive. Although getting cold doesn't actually cause a cold or flu (the viruses do), but being cold can reduce my stamina and make me feel miserable and fatigued, so i need to stay warm.

All of us want to have good health because we cannot buy health even we are rich. In my opinion, health is the better than wealth because if we were in good health, but not rich, we could do what we want, we could do hard work and serve ourselves in daily activies. Moreover, we could help others, bring happiness to them. With good health, we could interesting. Otherwise, if we were rich but not healthy, we would depend on others because we could not serveourselves in daily life, become other’sload, we are easy to be angry or bored with everythingg So you should relax more, eat more to supplement vitamins. In summary, healthis better than wealth.
