1. Khái niệm
So sánh hơn được hiểu là cấu trúc so sánh giữa 2 hay nhiều vật/người với nhau về 1 hay 1 vài tiêu chí, trong số có 1 vật đạt được tiêu chí được đưa ra cao nhất so với các vật còn lại.
So sánh hơn thường được sử dụng cho việc so sánh 2 hay nhiều vật/người với nhau (với những trường hợp so sánh 1 vật với tổng thể ta dùng so sánh nhất).
2. Cấu trúc so sánh hơnSo sánh hơn với tính từ ngắn và trạng từ ngắn:

II. Tìm hiểu một số động từ khuyết thiếu
1. Must
- Thể khẳng định (must V) diễn tả sự cần thiết hay bắt buộc.
Ví dụ:
He must go to bed earlier. (Anh ta phải đi ngủ sớm hơn.)
- Thể phủ định (must not V/ mustn't V) diễn tả ý cấm đoán, không được phép.
Ví dụ:
You must not park here. (Bạn không được phép đỗ xe ở đây.)
Passengers mustn't talk to the driver. (Hành khách không được nói chuyện với lái xe.)
2.Should/Should't
Should đi với tất cả các ngôi mà không cần thêm "s" với các ngôi số ít ở thì hiện tại đơn. Should đứng ngay sau chủ ngữ và trước động từ thường, và động từ đứng sau "should" luôn ở dạng nguyên thể. Cấu trúc cụ thể: Chủ ngữ + should/ shouldn't + động từ nguyên thể + (các thành phần khác)
