“Stuffed sky rice cake” is one the most traditional special foods for the lunar new year in Viet Nam. It is made of sky rice, pork and green bean, all ingredients are wrapped inside a special leaf which calls Lá Dong. The rice and green bean have to be soaked in water for a day. The pork is usually seasoned with pepper & salt for several hours. Banh Chung is boiled for 6 or 8 hours. Ý NGHĨA:
The Lunar New Year is indispensable for the image of banh chung. Our nation has a tradition from the past, every 27 to 28 Tet, the whole family will pack banh chung and turn around by the fire to set the pot. Banh chung symbolizes the reunion after a hard year.
Today, many families, especially those in big cities, do not maintain this habit. However, on the tray of rice to worship Tet, no one is missing a green rice cake.
Tết Nguyên Đán không thể thiếu hình ảnh của bánh chưng. Dân tộc ta có tục lệ từ xưa, cứ đến 27 – 28 Tết, cả gia đình sẽ gói bánh chưng và quay quần bên bếp lửa đặt nồi bánh. Bánh chưng tượng trưng cho sự đoàn tụ sau một năm vất vả.
Ngày nay, rất nhiều gia đình, đặc biệt là các gia đình ở thành phố lớn, không duy trì thói quen này. Tuy vậy, trên mâm cơm cúng Tết, không nhà ai thiếu được chiếc bánh chưng xanh.

Bún chả: Kebab rice noodles

Pho is one of the Vietnamese traditional food. The most delicious and typical brand of Pho in Vietnam is Ha Noi Pho with wonderful flavor. Pho is made from rice noodles, beef or chicken and other spices. Pho is a noodle soup; therefore, it’s better when being added with beansprout. Eating Pho with family not only reflects Vietnamese tradition but also creates cozy atmosphere. At weekends, my friends and I usually go to a cafeteria to enjoy Pho because Pho is served at many restaurants in Vietnam. There are two main kind of Pho: noodle soup with beef and sliced chicken, both of them are delicious and high nutrients. Pho is favorite food of almost Vietnamese and often served as breakfast. Moreover, Pho is popular in international market for its pleasant taste and reasonable price. Foreign tourists visit Vietnam and they really the taste of Pho here. I am very proud of it. In near future, I hope Pho will be more famous in other countries so that foreigners can enjoy this cuisine and understand about Vietnamese culture.

Hơn nữa, phở còn phổ bién ở thị trường quốc tế bởi vị ngon và giá thành phải chăng. Du khách nước ngoài đến VN và họ rất thích hương vị phở ở đây. Tôi rất tự hào về điều đó. Trong tương lai, tôi mong phở sẽ càng nổi tiếng ở các nước khác để họ có thể thưởng thức và hiểu hơn về văn hoá Việt.

My hometown is Bac Ninh, where there is recognized intangible cultural heritage that is the folk song of them. Every year, on January 13, Lim festival is held in Tien Du, Bac Ninh. While the festival is going on, there's a lot of activity. Like other festivals, the Lim festival is divided into ceremonies and festivals. The ceremony is organized with traditional rituals such as worshiping and rituals. The new part of the association is the part that tourists expect. On the lake, there will be brothers and sisters on the dragon boat singing mandarins. The melodies of the charm are so smooth and clear, they are so beautiful. Many people stood on the shore cheering and taking pictures. While the festival took place, there were also many games such as cockfighting, wrestling, throwing ... Visitors who come here can also buy or rent their costumes to take pictures or buy a lot of souvenirs. beautiful. Hoi Lim not only brings human value but also great economic value for Bac Ninh province.

Quê em ở Bắc Ninh, nơi có di sản văn hóa phi vật thể được công nhận đó chính là làn điệu dân ca quan họ. Hàng năm, vào ngày 13 tháng Giêng hội Lim được tổ chức tại Tiên Du, Bắc Ninh. Trong khi lễ hội được diễn ra, có rất nhiều hoạt động. Cũng như các lễ hội khác, hội Lim được chia thành phần lễ và phần hội. Phần lễ tổ chức các nghi thức truyền thống như cúng, tế. Đến phần hội mới là phần du khách mong chờ. Trên hồ, sẽ có các liền anh, liền chị ở trên thuyền rồng hát quan họ. Những làn điệu trao duyên mượt mà, trong trẻo nghe sao mà da diết thế. Rất nhiều người đứng trên bờ cổ vũ và chụp hình. Trong khi phần hội diễn ra cũng có rất nhiều các trò chơi như chọi gà, đấu vật, ném còn… Du khách đến đây cũng có thể mua hoặc thuê trang phục của các liền anh chị để chụp hình hoặc mua rất nhiều đồ lưu niệm xinh xắn. Hội Lim không chỉ mang giá trị nhân văn mà còn mang giá trị kinh tế to lớn cho tỉnh Bắc Ninh.

Enviroment is neccessary thing for this life. Enviroment is the air we breath, the water people drink and is everything they need for their life. But now the most important thing for the life is being polluted. This pollution affects the health of all living things. Air is damaged by lorry fumes and car, and power stations create acid rain which can destroys entire lakes and forests. When fossil fuels: gas, oil and coal are burned to provide energy for cooking, lighting etc. they form polluting gases. Not only on land but also in the sea, oils spills pollute sea water and kill marine life; chemical waste from sewage works and factories, and artificial fertilisers from farmland, pollute river water, spreading disease, and killing wildlife. Everything is being caused by human’s existence. Humans create rubbish! Each household produces about one tonne of rubbish each year! Most of this is taken away by dustmen and burned in incinerators or buried in enormous landfill sites – both of these actions can be dangerous for our environment.
But only people can change and solve it. Pollution could be prevented by all thing we do each day. First people can use recycled paper to save trees. Second try to avoid using plas. It is hard to recycle. People should refuse to use carrier bags. If people can not avoid buying plas bags, they should use re-use plas bags many times. Finally people must take their old clothes to charity shops. People also should save energy to protect environment. Switching off all electric things when they are not in use, walk or use a bicycle instead of car for short trips, keep healthy life and keep clean atmosphere.
Keep clean environment isn’t only all ways are mentioned before but also to protect natural resources. That is the way to conserver wild life. First we need to conserve the old forest, rainforest, build more safari and national park, and plant more trees to make place to live for wild animals. Second we need to prohibit hunters who hunt animals too many out of the law allowance.
Finally, we now know that enviroment is the most important thing for life and we know how to protect and use it scientifically. Everyday we invent and find more and more way to protect enviroment. I hope that in the future the earth will be cleaner.
