I like reading book .I enjoy reading a book when I am free.I started to do it when I was four years old. The first time I did it, I felt interested. So I kept reading.Firstly, reading makes me feel comfortable after many long stressful hours at school. I actually like comic books because they contain lots of colorful and interesting images that keep my spirit relax. Secondly, reading books provides me a great deal of diverse knowledge of many fields.For me, there is nothing makes me happier than to have a stack of books on my nightstand to attack on a night when there is no alarm clock waiting the next morning.Finally, reading helps to enhance my vocabulary in both Vietnamese and English language. In Vietnamese book, I can learn many traditional folks or proverbs that help me understand more deeply the beauty of my mother tongue. About English books, I can improve my English reading comprehension skill in study.In conclusion, I really like reading books, for it brings many good things to me. I see it as an useful activity to learn how to make life more meaningful and beautiful.

English is a popular language in the world and it has become the international language of business, aviation and communication. I want to be a travel guide so I think I have to try my best to learn English well. I learn English in some ways. Firstly, I learn by heart all the new words. Then I do more grammar exercises in grammar books. I also read English as much as possible. I like English newspapers and funny stories. I usually practice listening to English programs on the internet. Finally, I learn to sing English songs. Learning English is very necessary.

When listening to music, I demand a high level of authenity and focus on what I have to do. Learning English requires 4 skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. In my opinion, speaking skill is the most difficult. It requires so many other skills. When someone learns speaking, they must need enough grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary to build sentences and be able to speak. To learn the three skills including reading, writing, listening is quite hard. So studying speaking is more difficult. Moreover, English words and sentences also have stress, so speak English need people to pay attention to stress. In addition to stress, learners also must study tones. It is not similar to Vietnamese. Tones and stress in English are rather complicated. Although there are some marking stress methods but there are still many excepting situations. Of course, people who want to speak well must learn those exceptions. Tones in speaking english are in many types that are correspond to each kinds of sentences. And stydying all of them is not simply. Further more, people speak well must are fluent in speaking. Speakers need to be confident when they are speaking. Make confidence in speaking a language that is not mother language is not easy. To get confidence and saying fluently, speakers should practise speaking everywhere, every time as long as they can. Speaking skill is the most difficult in the four skills in learning English. If someone has right studying method, they can get success in this skill.

English is an international language. It is grand for us to study it. English is also taught at all schools in our country and is a core subject in important exams. There are a lot of skills in studying English such as: reading, listening, speaking, writing, grammar and so on. Writing, in my opinion, is the most difficult one.
The first, to write well, you must have wide vocabulary knowledge and be a dab hand at using grammar and sentence structure. Because English vocabulary is immense, it is not easy for not only non-native speakers but also native ones. Therefore, you need to read a lot to increase your vocabulary. To remember new words for a long time, you must have a good memory and contact them more frequently. For grammar and sentence structure, you can spend a lot of time studying it and of course you need to be instructed how to master some difficult grammar points or complicated structures.
The second, topics for writing are plentiful. You must understand them, have certain knowledge of them if you want to write essays about them. For example, You should make head or tail of some animals to write about their lives, or you need to have understanding about traffic rules to have a suitable essay about it, etc. Little do you know some field, that means you will not be able to write well or complete your writing. It is vital that you should own a great deal of wide social knowledge to use for your writing.

Quang works for an International bank in Hanoi . At the moment , he is studying English in London because he needs English for his job . He used to learn English at shool and university . But he has forgotten a lot of it . He wants to improve his writing skills because sometimes he has to write letters in English . His listening is terrible . This is his biggest problem . People talk very quickly and he can’t understad them . Quang think English is very useful and interesting . He likes to study English well . He hopes he can talk to people from all over the world and understand the words of his favorite songs .

Listening plays a huge part in learning any language. The first thing you did as a child was listen - you couldn't talk, or write or speak, so you listened. Unfortunately as we grow up a lot of us lose the skill of listening, but like most things, it is something you can improve on.
The first thing to do is learn to listen actively. Learning a language is a lot like learning to play a musical instrument. You can listen to music for enjoyment, but if you want to study the music you have to listen more critically. It's the same with languages; you need to make a conscious effort to hear not only the words that someone is saying but, more importantly, pay attention, and try to understand the complete message behind the words.
Watching films, TV shows or videos is a good start. If you're not sure what films to watch, look at our recommended films pages.
If you enjoy reading, why not listen to some of your favourite books? Audio books are available in many different formats, and you can even borrow some audio books from libraries. If you like the classics you will find many available to listen to online, for free.
Films and TV shows are scripted, so listening to talk radio or chat shows can be a bit more challenging. It's all good practise.
Listening to popular music is a great way of learning some new vocabulary and expressions. There are many free radio stations out there, and you can look up the lyrics online. Our favourite radio station is Learn English Radio.

If you want a list of nice places to go, just contact us on the forum or look at some of the places we have already visited (sometimes Sims close, so it's best to ask us).
