My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty pink house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the neccesary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contain many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.

Bên cạnh phòng vệ sinh là phòng tắm được trang bị vòi tắm hoa sen và bồn tắm. Có hai phòng ngủ ở trên lầu là phòng ngủ của bố mẹ và của tôi. Tôi trang trí phòng của mình bằng giấy dán tường rất ngộ nghĩnh và nhiều thú nhồi bông dễ thương. Chiếc giường đơn được đặt cạnh cửa sổ để tôi có thể ngắm sao trước khi chìm vào giấc ngủ. Đối diện giường là bàn học và kệ sách chứa rất nhiều loại sách. Trong phòng của tôi còn có một chiếc tivi cũ và một chiếc đàn piano. Tôi đặc biệt thích chiếc đàn piano bởi vì đó là món quà mà tôi tặng sinh nhật tôi. Vào mỗi dịp tết hay giáng sinh, tất cả thành viên trong gia đình đều cùng trang trí căn nhà và tập trung dưới bếp để nấu ăn. Mặc dù ngôi nhà của không lớn nhưng đối với tôi đó là ngôi nhà đẹp nhất trên thế giới này.
My family is going to visit my grandparents in Kien Giang in next summer. I’m looking forward to seeing them and their beautiful house that I love so much. That’s an ancient small French villa with a chimney and many old arc windows. The house is light blue that is my favourite colour. There are two floors and a terrace in the house. A living room and a kitchen are in the first floor. My grandfather put a sofa made from wood, an out-dated telvevision and a small aquarium with many colorful schools of fish. Behind the living room is the kitchen. The stuffs in the kitchen are quite old, exception gas stove and refrigerator. My grandmother told me that she had a lot of experiences in this kitchen because she almost spent all of her life to do household chorces and cooking. Next to the kitchen is a cute henhouse where grandmom often takes eggs to bake a best cake ever. There are 3 bedrooms and a workship room where is kept clean all the time in the second floor. The bedroom is very simple and corny. I have to admit that the bedroom looks very musky. When I was a kid, I always thought of scary things would happen to me if I fell asleep in a bedroom that. And nothing happened to me, of course, that’s just my imagination. The last part of the house is the terrace which is my grandfather’s world. He has many strange beautiful birds whose names are difficult to remember, too. He lets the birds land in the trees which he planted a long time ago. Every morning, my grandparents do exercises and enjoy the fresh air there together. To everyone, that house may be very normal but to me that is the most perfect house in the world.

Phòng ngủ rất đơn giản và cũ kỹ. Tôi phải thừa nhận rằng phòng ngủ ở đây trông có vẻ rất âm u. Khi tôi còn nhỏ, tôi luôn suy nghĩ về những điều đáng sợ sẽ xảy đến với tôi nếu tôi ngủ. Và không có chuyện gì xảy đến cả, đó là do tôi tưởng tượng ra mà thôi. Phần cuối cùng trong căn nhà là sân thượng-thế giới riêng của ông. Ông nuôi rất nhiều loài lạ và đẹp có cái tên rất khó nhớ. Ông để cho chim chóc đậu trên những cái cây đã được trồng từ rất lâu rồi. Vào mỗi buổi sáng, ông bà của tôi cùng nhau tập thể dục và tận hưởng không khí mát lành trên đây cùng với nhau. Đối với mọi người đó có thể chỉ là một căn nhà bình thường nhưng đối với tôi đó là căn nhà tuyệt vời nhất trên thế giới.

Le Duy Manh is Deputy Head of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic Site Management Board: “The Con Son- Kiep Bac is a religious center in the northeastern region. It is on the pilgrimage path from Thang Long citadel to the Yen Tu Buddhist Holy Land. Con Son pagoda worships Huyen Quang Ton Gia, the third progenitor of Truc Lam Zen Buddhism. 5 km from Con Son pagoda is Kiep Bac temple, which worships military leader Tran Hung Dao. Next to Kiep Bac temple is a temple dedicated to the Confucianism teacher Chu Van An”.

Hai Duong is famous for not only its historical and relic sites but also its numerous traditional festivals. The bell ringing festival in Dong Ngo pagoda, Thanh Ha district, is the first festival of the year, But the biggest festival is the Kiep Bac Temple festival which is held during the 8th lunar month. Traditional festivals in Hai Duong often feature processions, folk games, swimming contests, and sk fighting, which maintain the cultural characteriss of the Red River Delta. More than 500 local traditional festivals have been restored so far.
Hai Duong province preserves several traditional theater and art genres Cheo traditional theater, Tuong opera, Ca Tru singing, duet singing, lullabies, and water puppetry. There are three water puppet troupes in Hai Duong. Pham Van Tong, Head of the Water Puppetry Troup of Hong Phong commune says the art-form first appeared in Hong Phong commune during the 17th century and all the puppets are handled by strings: “Local people perform water puppetry after a hard working day. The performances feature local people’s daily activities. These performances entertain and celebrate the people’s lives”.
Hai Duong is also famous for local specialties such as glutinous rice, lychees, green bean cakes, and gai cakes or thorn leaf black cakes. Local craft villages Kinh Chu stone carving village, Dong Giao wood carving village, Chau Khe jewelry village, and Cay and Chu Dao ceramic village also preserve their traditional crafts.
