Generally, most people in the world all have a hobby. And I have some hobbies, too.  I reading, cooking, and listening to music. I don't think hobbies need hidden but don't share too many people know this. I want to share my hobby with my family and some friends. Some hobbies when I was a baby but some hobbies do a lot and feel good and follow. If you don't have a hobby, you will think life is so terrible so hobby is very important. The hobby is good for us but spends too much time on a hobby is harmful. I think I will try to learn English by listening to some English music. I think I need a computer or a phone and internet for this hobby. In my country, mostly the boy playing soccer and the girl chatting. Hobby helps us confident and happy.

My hobby I like the most is listening to music. I started listening many kinds of music when I was very little.

Music is something you have everytime whereever you go. For me, music plays an important role. I really need music to concentrate during the time I am doing my homework or any kind of works. Not only that, whenever, whatever i do, the music is always with me. I can say that music is my best buddy. It always keeps me happy and relaxed.

I am very fond of music. When I am free, I often listen to my favorite songs from my phone or an old cassette. Although now you can download the songs easily form the Internet, at weekends, I usually go to music shops to buy good CDs. Of the famous pop singers, I prefer Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Madona and Paul MC Cartney. They have many songs that I think I can relate too. It can be a happy song or a sad song but there is always a way I can relate to it. I guess that is another reason I love to hear music because I can relate to what is going on in my life.

I just love listening to music so much. It’s like my daily hobby and I don’t know what I would do if music didn’t exist.

I love all kinds of music; country, pop, rock and roll, and other kind of music. I am interested in hearing them because all songs bring me back my lovely memories. And they bring me energy to clean my sould. Most of the time, I love listening to music to relax my body. The music can make everything funier. Listening to some new songs is awesome. You can see the life is more beautiful.

Dear Lucy,

How are you? My family and I are fine here. Hope you are fine, too.

I am interested in learning to play a musical instrument.  I do not know which instrument to choose. I was thinking of learning to play  the piano like many of my friends. However, my father suggested that I try something different. So, I tried the guitar but my fingers hurt. My sister suggested the violin But I think it would be hard. Lastly, my brother suggested that I play drums, but my mother disagreed because it would be too loud and noisy.

I know you play some instruments. That is why I am asking you for your advice.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Your friend,

Nadia

Music, like the other fine arts, is what feeds the soul and touches the body, moving it. Anyone who has grown up with a musically talented parent knows the tremendous part that music plays in one's memory. And, anyone who has "been acquainted with the night" as Robert Frost put it, knows and can relate to the Blues.

Music can fit our moods, as well. I will always remember riding along with a friend years ago. This friend loved hard rock, but he had Johnny Cash's "Sunday Morning Coming Down" playing as I got into the car. "What is this?" I asked. "You don't ever listen to Country Western; in fact, you loathe it!"

"Yeah, it's the strangest thing: after breaking up with J____,it all seems to make sense now. Anyway, I think I feel like Johnny did in this song," he replied.

Yes, sometimes we are in harmony with what music says and it talks to us, and pulls at our hearts in most unusual ways, nurturing, comforting, commiserating, exhilirating, soothing, strengthening us against the dark. What would life be like without it? Terribly cold and silent, indeed.

Playing a musical instrument is a great hobby to have. I started playing the piano when I was five years old and still really enjoy it now: it’s a perfect way to relax and cheers me up when I’m feeling down. When I lived at home with my parents, we had a lovely reddish brown piano in the house and I had piano lessons every week. However, when I went to university, I had to leave my family, my home and my piano behind.

I missed playing the piano so much that I spent all the money I got for my eighteenth birthday on a brand new electric piano. It was quite difficult getting it from the music shop to my house: I had to take a friend with me to get it into a taxi and then carry it to the door. I am very glad I bought it though. I was able to play whenever I wanted, using headphones so that I wouldn’t disturb my flatmates. When I was studying or writing an essay, I used to take a break to play something energetically. It really helped ease my frustration! When I was feeling a bit homesick, playing music that I learned on my old piano made me feel better.

I've always been captivated by the ethereal sounds of the Celtic harp. Its elegant frame, adorned with strings that seem to whisper tales of ancient lands, draws me in. The thought of plucking those strings and coaxing out melodies that resonate with centuries of tradition fills me with a sense of enchantment. The harp's graceful curves and the way its strings resonate to create hauntingly beautiful music evoke a sense of magic and tranquility. Learning to play the Celtic harp feels like embarking on a journey through time, exploring melodies that echo the soul of folklore and tradition, while also allowing for personal expression and creativity. The instrument's timeless allure and its ability to evoke emotions through its melodic resonance make it a captivating choice for me to explore and master.
