Về nơi chốn:
- in + địa điểm lớn, trong một không gian kín (in a box, in a room, in London, ...)
- at + địa điểm cụ thể, có vị trí cụ thể, địa chỉ nhà (at 77B ABC street, at the NM Bank, ...)
- on + trên bề mặt, ở trên (on the floor, on the table, ...)
Về thời gian:
- in + tháng, năm, thế kỉ, thập kỉ, buổi (sáng, trưa, chiều), giai đoạn dài
- on + thứ, có ngày và tháng, ...
- at + giờ, thời gian cụ thể

still diễn tả sự liên tục . trong câu khẳng định still đứng trước động từ chính hoặc sau động từ như be , have , might , will . nếu động từ chính là tobe thì still đứng sau . trong câu hỏi still đứng trước động từ chính của câu đó
