Bạn hiểu vấn đề thế này nhé.

Mặc dù câu này nhìn như câu hỏi nhưng thực chất ý nghĩa của nó mang tính nhờ vả, tức là: '' Bạn mở hộ tớ cái cửa sổ được không?''

Ta xét hai cách chuyển trên.

1. Ben nhờ tôi mở hộ cửa sổ

2. Ben hỏi tôi nếu tôi định mở cửa sổ

=> Đơn giản ta chọn 1.

Ở một phía khác, ta sẽ chọn cách chuyển như 2 nếu ai đó hỏi người nào đó định làm gì (mà không liên quan đến người hỏi, không mang tính nhờ vả)

VD: '' Will you go to Blackpink's concert next week?'' My friend asked me.

=> My friend asked me if I would go to Blackpink's concert the following week.

Vậy đó, đôi khi ta cần xét cả nghĩa và ngữ cảnh mà không chỉ nhìn riêng mặt ngữ pháp.
