Câu 1. Trong những trường hợp nào thì thụ phấn nhờ người là cần thiết ? Cho ví dụ.
Trả lời: - Tăng khả năng thụ phấn của cây khi sự thụ phấn tự nhiên kém hiệu quả. Một số nông dân khi trồng bí ngô thường thụ phấn bổ sung để tăng khả năng kết trái của cây.
- Thụ phấn chéo nhằm tránh thoái hóa giống hay để lai tạo nên giống mới có nhiều ưu điểm hơn. Ví dụ như người trồng ngô thường thụ phấn chéo để tránh thoái hóa giống và tăng năng suất (tăng khả năng tạo hạt) bằng cách dùng bao giấy cuộn lại thành hình chiếc phễu, sau đó vít ngọn cây ngô xuống lắc cho hạt phấn rơi vào phễu . Khi đã có hạt phấn rồi thì tiến hành thụ phấn chéo cho cây bằng cách lấy hạt phấn của cây này rắc lên hoa (râu ngô) của cây kia.
