Generally population growth and technology impact the environment by lessening "natural" environments and creating more "man made" ones. Often non-human populations (plants and animals) are affected by these changes and either adapt or die out in areas with increased population growth or technological advances. Think of places in your community where new roads have been built, where vacant lots have becoming houses, or where any kind of change to the "natural" environment has occurred. The movie Over the Hedgeis a simplification of this issue. There have also been more positive impacts recently, in terms of green energy (solar or wind power, for example) where technology has allowed for a reduction in the use of natural resourcesin certain communities.

I usually make friends easily, so I have a lot of friends – schoolmates, neighbours, relatives. I can’t imagine my life without them. But there is one, who will always be in the first place in my heart. Her name is Anna and she is my closest friend.  Anna is a very beautiful and charming girl and always attracts males’ attention. She is taller than me and has straight brown hair and deep chestnut brown eyes. Like most teenagers she pays a lot of attention to her appearance and likes dressing in the latest and most extravagant fashion. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in a T- shirt or jeans.  By nature Anna is communicative and outgoing and the thing she likes best is being the centre of attention. Her biggest dream is to become a singer and I truly believe that one day she’ll make her wish come true. Anna has won many prizes and has taken part in many concerts, because she sings really incredibly.  As a normal human being, however, Anna also has her shortcomings. She never goes on time to her dates. Sometimes she is absent-minded and inconsiderate and that makes people think she never takes things seriously. But this is not true. She has a strong sense of responsibility and you can always rely on her.  Another characteristic she has is that she’s gregarious, sensitive and emotional. She also gets confused easily and doesn’t forget those who have caused her harm.  The thing I admire most about Anna is that she is protective and likes to look after people. Believe it or not, once she ever saved my life! I’ll never forget that day. We went swimming in a pool. Suddenly, my left leg went dead I couldn’t go on swimming. I lost consciousness. When I opened my eyes I found myself lying and Anna holding my hands. She, herself had pulled me out of the water. That was a real narrow escape from the death, and if she weren’t there, I would have drowned.  For me, friendship is the most important thing in the world. I am proud to say that I have such loyal and helpful friend – one in a million.

Breakfast is good for you because it keeps you going through the day. It helps your mind think and concentrate. Breakfast is good nutrition for your soul. Breakfast is filling your car with gas in the morning. To me, breakfast is the most important part of the day. Without breakfast, I would go crazy. Breakfast is eaten all over the world children and adults all ages and all races. Breakfast gives me energy that I need for the day. Food that is eaten at breakfast is: eggs, bacon, cereal, toast, grapes, apples, oranges, mangoes, tomatoes, ham, sausages, applesauce, grits, oatmeal, hash browns, biscuits and cream of wheat. Farmers grow plants grain, wheat, fruit trees and vegetables so we can have breakfast. You can have/eat breakfast at a lot of places. For example: Denny’s, I-HOP, M.E. Swings, AU BON PAIN, at home and at some local churches. At some churches, they cook food for the homeless. Volunteers come out to help the churches serve food to the homeless. Breakfast is the only course that you can eat at any time of the day. You can not eat lunch, dinner or desert at any time of the day. Eating cheese cake or meatloaf for breakfast would most ly make you sick. Breakfast can be eaten on the go when you are going anywhere. They have breakfast bars for toddlers, granola bars are for kids and teens. Also, the adults can eat granola bars; also they have nutrition bars for adults.
