“Trong cuộc đời, mỗi chúng ta đều có ba kẻ thù cần phải tiêu diệt: do dự, nghi ngờ và sợ hãi. Ba kẻ thù này có mối quan hệ mật thiết với nhau. Khi cảm thấy nghi ngờ và sợ hãi, tất yếu bạn sẽ do dự trong việc đưa ra quyết định và hành động.

Trái với do dự là tính quyết đoán, và đây chính là một trong những biểu hiện của lòng dũng cảm. Sự bất tử của mỗi người nằm ở việc họ có dám đưa ra quyết định hay không. Để có được một quyết định rõ ràng, mỗi người cần phải có lòng dũng cảm, và đôi khi phải cực kì can đảm. Bên cạnh đó, giá trị của các quyết định lại phụ thuộc vào mức độ dũng cảm khi hành động (…). Con người ta sẽ chẳng làm nên trò trống gì nếu không có một ý tưởng táo bạo, một tư duy đột phá và lòng can đảm để hiện thực hóa chúng.
