Động từ đuôi -ing được coi như Danh động từ, tức là vừa có tính chất của một động từ, vừa có tính chất của một danh từ. Trong trường hợp này, losing (his first job) được coi như một danh từ và có sở hữu cách đằng trước, để chỉ việc Tom bị mất việc em nhé!
