Everyone has dreams. Weather they be to become a scientist and discover new and amazing things, or become a star basketball player and be the highest paid player in the league, people dream about their future. I have dreams for the future just like everyone else. Dreams of the good life, with lots of money, hot girls, and fast cars! And I will do whatever it takes to achieve it.College is my first step to achieve my dream. Currently I am a student in high school. I do my best to keep my grades up, because I know that they will help me into college. I dream of going to UCSD to get a bachelors degree in biology, then coming back to Stockton to attend UOP and getting a Doctorates degree in Pharmacy. By the time I get this degree, I will be around 28, so I hope that it will all be worth it.
After I have a doctorate, I plan to get a job working for a company under their research division. I hope I can lend a hand in finding new, more effective ways of administering drugs to patents. Or I could possibly design self-administration drugs for those at home type of people. Or perhaps I could improve packaging designs for the medication. The possibilities are endless!
Outside of my job, I plan to buy a large home. I dream of settling down in an urban area, someplace that's not too big. A Stockton type of town, but not Stockton. Possibly Monterey or Carmel. Hopefully by the time I get a house, I'll have a wife and can start a family. I dream of having a son to carry on the family name.
As you can see, I have big plans for my future. I plan to make something of myself, and not to give up. I have a major fear of failure, and I won't let it get to me. My parents expect a lot out of me, and I think I have done a good job so far. My dreams are what keep me going; they are an object for me to strive for. I will obtain that object one day.

Everyday, we have to go to school and everyday, we have to learn many subjects at school. There are many subjects, such as: Math, Literature, Biology, English, History,... In each subject, we learn about each topic. For example, in Math, we learn about numbers and how to caculate them; in English, we are taught grammar and vocab in English; in Biology, we learn about plants, animals, and even our body. Of course, we have our own favorite subject. To me, I like Math most because of its suitability and maybe its complication. I have Math four times week, in Mon, Tue, Thu, and Sat. My name is Lan. I am studying at Kim Lien School. It's very big and beautiful. It's located in the center of my hometown. My school has two floors. The first floor is for grade 6,7 and the second floor is for grade 8,9. There are a lot of green trees and colourful flowers in my school. I and my friends always take care of them. There is a big playground in front of my school. My school has 29 classrooms. Each classroom has modern equipment for student to study. There is also a library, a music room, a computer room, etc... I especially like the library best because it has mamy interesting and useful books for me to read. When I have free time, I always go to the library with my friends to read comic books. It's is my favourite place.
I love my school very much. I will try my best to study well, obey my parents and teachers to become a good student of Kim Lien School.

Honestly, I love living in the countryside. Some people would say that living in the city is better than living in the countryside. Advanced technology, convenient transportation, high quality education and good health care are few things what they enjoy about living in the city. Although living in the city has many advantages, I generally prefer living in the contryside. Because, in countryside, the life is very peaceful, quiet and safe. Also, the friendly and generous people, who will welcome you or help you at anytime. Especially, nobody can deny the fresh air in countryside since it has fewer vehicles.
