To me, autumn is the most beautiful season. The climate is cool and dry but still sunny. Autumn begins from early October annually. In the autumn, people need to wear a light cardigan or overcoat when going out. The autumn scene is truly peaceful and romantic. You can see the many red and yellow leaf trees along the streets, the sky is bluer, and the water in many lakes is greener. It is a good time to enjoy the mid-autumn festival, one of the big festivals each year in Vietnam celebrated on the lunar August, 15th. I love autumn in Hanoi. It has milk flowers with a special smell, daisy, along with Cốm – a specialty of Hanoi in this season. Autumn often appears a lot in poetry due to the beauty and pleasant feeling it brings to everyone. Do you like aki?

Today, I am going to tell you about my favourite season. Honestly, I love all the seasons but I think my favourite is spring. Usually, it starts at the end of December in our country and lasts till the middle of March. The weather in Vietnam is the best during spring because you will not suffer from the excessive heat of summer or the freezing wind of winter. The temperature is tolerable both day and night. One of the best things about spring is that, during this poetic season, nature displays itself in beautiful green and flowers are noticed everywhere. Fruit trees, such as cherry and apricot trees are in full blossom, and colourful flowers such as daffodils and marigolds bloom in parks and gardens. The sounds of spring are wonderful too. A typical spring day will begin when some birds start their morning chorus as they look for a mate. We also celebrate Tet, one of the most anticipated holidays by the Vietnamese people. This is an occasion for pilgrimages, family reunions and many festivals. Parties full of delicious traditional dishes are the main theme for the whole holiday of Tet. I am of the opinion that different kinds of weather can affect people’s health. Even among those in the prime of health, an excessively hot or cold day can lead to illness or injury, let alone the elderly, who can be more susceptible to extreme weather conditions. Weather can also make a huge impact on people’s lives. Obviously, the weather dictates what you are going to wear for the day, often depending on the time of year. Also, winter snow storms in Western countries can cancel school or make your morning commute a hassle.

My favourite celebrity is Billie Eilish. She’s an 18 year old singer/songwriter who was born and raised in Los Angeles. She gained media attention when she uploaded her song ocean eyes, to SoundCloud when she was 13. She became worldwide known after she released hir hit single, bad guy. Right now, she’s a 5-time-Grammy winner, 2 American Music Awards and a lot more. I love her because she is real. If she does not know something or somebody famous, she just says it, she is also honest about how she feels. Also, I like how she does not fit in the box of all other female singers. Her music is not always my taste, but it is indeed exceptional. Some songs are fiction, some are dialogues of inner monsters, of God, of devil. I take it more as musical surrealism and joy of expressing the weirdness than anything else. The way she sings, the effects and instruments are well manufactured and unusual.

Hanoi is located in the center of the Red River Delta. It is one of the major economic, cultural and political centers of Vietnam. When you come here, you will be surprised by the youthful and dynamic pace. The infrastructure is very morden and magnificent . Along the avenues, there are many buildings, shopping malls, administrative offices. Hanoi is also home to many prestigious and well-known universities in the country such as Foreign Trade university, Hanoi university of science and technology, National Economics university, etc. During the day, roads are full with vehicles and traffic congestion, especially is at rush hours, when students go to school and adults go to work. However, at night, Hanoi is more bustling than ever. All the way, the roof are in brightly colorful light, restaurants are on display. At this time, almost everyone has returned home from work, gathering at the edge of the family. After that, they together go shopping, to entertaiment centers and parks to relax after a hard-working day. With me, Hanoi is a great place to live and work. At night wandering in the streets of Hanoi, the smell of milk flowers along the roads makes the soul become strangely peaceful. In the near future, I will build up my own beautiful house there.

My name is Mai. I am 15 years old. At school, I enjoyed playing volleyball. This is a sport that helps me exercise. When I was a child I enjoyed watching volleyball programs. When I was 12 years old, my mother sent me to learn to play volleyball. I like it very much. I play volleyball most of my free time. I often play volleyball at school and on the volleyball court close to home. We formed volleyball clubs and teams to compete with each other. Thanks to volleyball, I met and made many new friends. I can also practice solidarity when I play any sport. I really like volleyball. I wish I could become a professional volleyball player.

My favorite sport is badminton, and I think it is a suitable sport for girls like me. I have been playing badminton since I was 12, and it is very good for me to improve my height. It needs at least two players to play, and we have to use rackets to hit a shuttlecock over a net. However, we can always play it in double form with two players each side or in larger teams. Points are counted when we can strike the shuttlecock across the net, and it lands within the opponent’s side of the court. We can also score when our opponent hit the shuttlecock but it does not go over the net or within our side. The scoring one can serve the shuttlecock, and it does not matter if the score is from the server and the receiver. There is one referee who sits on a very high chair right outside of the court and next to the net. He or she is the one who determines whether the shuttlecock touches the net or goes outside of the limit. Each game is played up to 21 points, if both of the players reach to 20 points, then they need to continue until one of them gains a two - point lead, for example 24 - 22. There are three sets in a match, and whoever win out of two sets, he or she wins the whole game. This is a quite simple sport without too many rules, and it does not require an ideal base of strength. Most of my girlfriends choose it as their main subject in Physical Education class, and we can both have fun and improve our health by it.

"It's time for summer holiday. What are you going to do during three months off? To me, I planed to do many things. I'm going to take a tour to another province with my family members in some days to relax. The tour is going to start on middle of June and lasting for a week. It must be tired a little bit but I like travelling and am exciting to wait for that. After the tour, I'm going back with my study. But they will be some extra subjects that I like. When I studied in school, I didn't have time to learn them. Can you guess what they are? You know, I'm going to learn drawing and kungfu. My parents also want me to learn English because they think it's good for me in the future. It's ok. I still have much time for that. I also like learning English. Besides studying, I'm thinking of finding a part time job. Most of my friends are searching for a job to earn some money. This will help us get more experiences and be independent too. I'm going to ask my parents for their pemission. But I think they will accept since it's useful for me. With this plan, I think I'll have a interesting and meaningful holiday. How about your plan?"

My favourite food is sandwich. Sandwich is very easy to make. You need some slice of bread, some salad, some hams and some mayonnaise. You just need to put the salad on the slice of bread then take some hams put it on the sandwich and put some mayonnaise. Last, you take another slice of bread then put in on the top of all and done!
