I am writing this letter to give you great news on my newly purchased house. I hope you are doing well and sorry for not being in touch for such a long time. I was too busy in moving to new house.
As you know, our old house was not that specious and had only two bedrooms. With addition my baby girl we needed a bigger house. Neighborhood was also not that great and it was very far from Ben's office. It took long time to buy this new house, but believe me this is great one! My son is very happy to be at this new house. We have 3 specious bedrooms, a big size living and dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. My baby girl has a great space to crawl. It has a small backyard with a pet house for our doggy - Raju.
More importantly, this new house is very close to Ben's office. Now he is starting late to office and reaching back home early. Ben is also happy to give quality time for us, instead of wasting his time on long travel and traffic jams.
This Sunday, if you are available please visit our new house; I am sure you will like it.
We can have a lunch together with our families. We will also like to get your creative ideas for decorating our kid's rooms. Please find the address as below.

We went to Doi Tam, a village famous for its drum making techniques, in Ha Nam Province last month. The craft was first introduced to the village sometime in the 8th or 9th century. Today there are more than six hundred drum makers living in Doi Tam village.
I was amazed to see big drums in front of every house in the village. People say that it takes four workers three days to make a drum with a diameter of 1.5 metres. To make a drum, the craftsmen have to follow an eight-stage process. Stretching the drumhead is the most challenging stage since they have to carefully assess the sound it makes. The other steps do not require such high skills.
Nowadays, Doi Tam drums are not only famous in Viet Nam but are also sold to other countries such as Laos, Cambodia, Japan, and the USA.

Today, I will introduce about Doi Tam Village, a village lying on the foot of Doi Mountain. This village has a traditional drum-making craft for over 1000 years, which has been recognized as “representative craft village”. Doi Tam Village helps maintain historical values, which have been in Vietnamese’s mind for a long time. The village is located at Tien Son Commune, Duy Tan Town, Ha Nam Province. Doi Tam village is famous for its traditional drum making techniques. Doi Tam’s drums has such great reputation that they are used in many important festival of the country. Additionally, the landscapes in the village are beautiful and the air is fresh. The villagers are kind and helpful too. I hope one day you can get the chance to visit this amazing village.

Viet (Kinh) ethnic group
Name of ethnic group: Kinh (Viet). Population: About 65.8 million people (Year 1999). Locality: These people live in all provinces but are densely clustered in the delta areas and urban centres.
Customs and habits
The Kinh ancient villages are usually surrounded by bamboo groves. The communal house is a place for meeting and conducting common ritual ceremonies. The Kinh also live in mud houses. They enjoy the habits of chewing betel, smoking water pipes and cigarettes, drinking tea, and eating ordinary rice.
The husband is considered the head of the family. Children take the family name of their father. The eldest son is responsible for the worship of dead parents and grandparents. Each family lineage has a temple for their forefathers and the head of the family lineage handles all common affairs.
Monogamy is observed during marriage. The family of the man approves the marriage and organizes the wedding for him. After the wedding party, the bride goes to live with her husband's family. The Kinh attach much importance to fidelity and the virtues of the bride.
They worship their ancestors and also practice Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism or Christianity to various extents.
Culture
The Kinh have a rich collection of literature which includes old tales, folk ballads, and proverbs. The written literature takes many forms such as poems, writings, books, and edicts. Song, music, sculpture, painting, dance and performance are also well developed and popular.
Costumes
The traditional attire of the Kinh in the north is a brown pajama set for men. A four paneled robe, bra, and trousers for women, also in brown, are usually worn. In the southern delta plains, both men and women wear black pajamas. At present, the Kinh's costumes resemble western clothing.
Economy
Rice cultivation in submerged fields is the main economic activity of the Kinh. They also erect dykes and dig canals which help in the growing of wet rice, gardening, and sericulture. They also raise cattle and poultry. Pottery production has been very developed for a long time.

First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year

Or if you’re feeling super creative, you could come up with your own name completely from scratch, just taking inspiration from your superpower itself! For example, if your superpower is an endless supply of chocolate, you could call yourself ‘The Powerful Cocoa’ or ‘Captain Cadbury’ - our advice is to just have fun with it!
3) Your Superhero Personality
There’s always a little more to superheroes than just their superpowers… Think about your superhero’s personality, hobbies and even favourite food! Not only does this help to create a fully-fledged superhero but it allows little ones to let their imagination run wild. If you’re incorporating superhero play into your lockdown routine, it can also be a great educational tool - why not get your kids to write a story about their superhero as part of English learning or create a kind of ‘fact file’ as part of History learning?
4) Your Superhero Outfit
Now, we can’t have superheroes without any outfits! Distinctive costumes are a must for concealing your true identity. Most superheroes have capes, goggles and of course a superhero mask that represents them but the sky’s the limit and anything is possible! Sketch out your ideas for your own costumes, making sure to pay attention to detail and include those finishing touches that are unique to your superhero. ‘To infinity and beyond’, ‘Avengers assemble!’ and ‘Up, up and away’ are all great examples of superhero catchphrases from your favourite movies and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t have one as well. Think about what your superpower is and in what environment you’re likely to use that superpower, something that resonates with your superhero personality and that can be easily recognised by other superheroes. If you’re struggling to think of one, why not get stuck into some superhero role-play? You’re bound to come up with one after a few hours of saving the world! Creating Your Own Superhero
Whether you want to totally transform yourself or would prefer to get stuck into some serious arts and crafts and create your superhero as an action figure, keep reading to find out our top 4 ways to make your superhero come to life!
1) Get dressed up!
After all that designing, what better way to bring your superhero to life than to become the superhero? Grab an old sheet or any fabric you have lying around and get decorating to make a super cool cape! Whether you want to jazz it up with glitter, paint your logo on it or even use some felt or coloured fabric and a hot glue gun (with help from the grown-ups!) to attach some epic artwork to the back of it, it's bound to look unique! After you’ve finished decorating your cape, loosely tie the two ends around your neck and you’re ready to blast off.
2) Get reusing and recycling
With World Earth Week just last week, we hope you’ve still got your environmental hats on! How about making your superhero figure out of recycled materials? Grab any old plastic bottles, newspapers, cardboard boxes and any other recyclable materials that would have otherwise gone to waste and get crafting! How about using old toilet paper tubes as the body, bottle caps as eyes, and newspaper as the cape? And why stop at creating your superhero, why not make an entire world for your superhero including plastic bottle buildings and aluminium can trees?
3) Sketch away!
Creating your own superhero doesn’t have to involve heaps of arts and crafts (although it is super fun that way!), sometimes all you need is colouring pencils and paper to bring your superhero to life. Draw your superhero how you envisage him/her looking and be sure to colour in all the little details including the costume and mask. Don’t forget to date your drawings too - that way, it’s a nice reminder of what you got up to in lockdown. Plus, why stop at drawing one superhero, why not have a go at making your very own comic book, including cartoon strips and all! And a little tip from us - don't worry if you feel art isn't your strong point, it's your superhero and only you know what they truly look like!
4) Mould and make your superhero
Modelling clay is a great option for those who want to truly recreate their superhero and it’s a brilliant activity for older kids who have a passion for all things action figures! If you can get hold of some modelling clay, preferably white so you have the opportunity to paint on top of it, why not try and mould your superhero?
