In Vietnam, almost everyone, has been a volunteer work and I have too. At my age, I have not been donate blood so I often donate books, toys and clothes for street children and homeless people. People are living longer so there are more elderly people .Many young people are doing community service .They help elderly people .They do their shopping .They do their housework.They clean their yards.They even paint their hoyses.
Last summer vacation, i went to visit Yen Bai where has many poor people. I went to with my teachers and my friends. We donated clothes for old people and pens, books for street children. We also tided their house. My teachers cooked food. All people at here were very happy. And we felt happy, too. We hoped that we could make a small change for them.
You can talk about the environment, the homeless people, elderly people, dissables people, people in flooded area. Now, there are a lot of people like to volunteer. They feel so happy and comfortable when they do volunteer work. I don't have much spare time as I am always over head and ears in studying at school but I still find a little time for me to relax. I especially love the weekend when I can go out with my friends for a cafe or go to the opening entertainment center to play sports such as tennis, volleyball, martial art or even swimming. I also play game online but it is not as attractive to me as playing sports outdoor. Sometimes we have small picnics to beautiful places which interest me. Studying sometimes makes me stress so that playing activity makes me feel more comfortable, and after that I can be engrossed in studying.

I think too many of us settle into a lazy lifestyle. We just want to come home and watch TV. Life is much more interesting when you're a volunteer.
I've found it really opens your eyes to how some people live. It's sometimes sad to see how the government lets people down, but at least I'm doing my bit.
