Birthday is an occasion of reunion and happiness. This is an occordant opportunity to represent love affair to the one we love. My younger sister's birthday came off on last Sunday, the day on which she turned fifteen. She invited a large number of guests including relatives and friends. My whole family were all busy making preparations for the feast. The party took place outside for all the guests to enjoy fresh air in the evening. The surrounding is covered with plenty of colorful balloons and flashing lights. From 6 p.m the guests began to arrive one by one because the party was to start at 7 p.m. Our family warmly welcomed them at the gate of the house. At exact seven, all people present gathered around the table to sing the chorus"Happy birthday to you" and clap hands. After that my younger sister began to blow out all the candles on the cake. It was a great chocolate birthday cake tastefully decorated with colorful candies and cream. All the guests were served with various candies, biscuits, fruits, cakes, beverages,... The party was full of rejoicement and pleasure with laughters all the time. She received so many meaningful birthday presents that she bursted into tears. After finishing the party, the guests said goodbye to us and returned home. Our family began to clean up and soon got to sleep. It was a hardship day but full of cheerfulness and meaning.

hello every body.My name is Tu . My hobby is very unusual ,it is knitting. My mother takes me to that hobby.I usually knitting with my grandma because my mom is very busy . I started it 2 years ago . I think it's a active way to improve my imagination . I am not good at knitting so much so i practise it everyday . For me knitting is a way for me to make more new friends who have the same hobby . The scafts i knit , i usually give to my family as some presents .In the future , i will countinue that hobby because when i knit , all i need is time

A hobby that I enjoy is using the computer. Surfing the internet is what I usually do whenever I have free time.

No one can deny the benefits of Internet. Information resources are probably the biggest advantage that Internet offers to people. Internet is a wonderful source of information. All kind of information on any topic is available on the Internet at anytime. I love searching things on Google. It’s a very useful tool from the Internet, we can know everything with just one mouse click.

Becoming knowledgeable is also a great benefit of using Internet. I spend a lot of time on the Internet for reading news. All latest news is continuously up-to-date on the Internet on various news sites. I often visit E-newspaper websites to read hot daily news. I can know everything such as current issues that happen in this world, what happen to our country, celebrities life, recent fashion, and other news that can enhance my knowledge. I would rather using Internet for updating news because it is available everywhere at anytime.

In conclusion, people increasingly spend their leisure time using Internet because it is a helpful tool where people can learn new things and keep informed of information around the world. Internet turns the world into the speed generation. As the Internet saves us much time, we can have enough time to do other things. The internet is a marvelous creation in this generation.

My parents gave me a trip to Sapa as a present for my effort in the previous school year and the trip was an unforgettable memory to me. My family got there in the morning when the weather was cool but it began to become warmer at noon and in the afternoon but in the evening, the outside was quite cold and even having snow at night. It was such an amazing experience that I really enjoyed it. We also went sightseeing and the natural beauty here took my breath away. The romantic and peaceful atmosphere with ranges of mountains surrounded by fog soon made a strong impression on me. I also had an opportunity to try seating on a cable car and enjoyed how breathtaking the view was.That was the first time in my life that I could see mountain, forests and waterfalls with my own eyes.The next day, my mom and I spent time going to the market where many of activities took place and I bought some souvenirs as gifts for my close friend. Especially, I was totally surprised at the ability of speaking English of local residents, especially small children. Besides, I also had a chance to try local food such as Sapa Cap Nach Pork, bamboo sticky rice, Tao Meo Wine… Each has its unique flavors that all satisfied my tastes. Finally my family had to say goodbye to Sapa but I still hope to come back here one day in a nearest future.

Gia đình mình tới đó vào buổi sáng khi trời khá mát mẻ và thời tiết trở nên ấm hơn vào buổi trưa và buổi chiều nhưng đến buổi tối thời tiết bên ngoài khá lạnh và có cả tuyết vào buổi tối. Đó là một kỉ niệm vô cùng đáng nhớ mà mình đã tận hưởng nó. Chúng tôi đã đi ngắm cảnh và mình đã vô cùng ngạc nhiên với vẻ đẹp thiên nhiên nơi đây. Khung cảnh yên bình và lãng mạn với những dãy núi bao quanh là sương đã để lại ấn tượng mạnh với mình. Mình cũng có cơ hội được ngồi trên cáp treo và tận hưởng vẻ đẹp đến nghẹt thở của khung cảnh nơi đây. Đó là lần đầu tiên trong cuộc đời mình được tận mắt nhìn thấy núi, rừng và thác nước. Ngày tiếp theo mẹ và mình đã dành thời gian đi chợ nơi có rất nhiều hoạt động diễn ra và mình đã mua đồ lưu niệm để làm quà cho bạn thân. Đặc biệt mình rất ngạc nhiên với khả năng nói tiếng anh của người dân nơi đây, đặc biệt là trẻ em nhỏ. Bên cạnh đó mình cũng có cơ hội được thưởng thức đồ ăn đặc sản nơi đây như là thịt lợn cạp nách sapa, cơm lam và rượu táo mèo...Mỗi món ăn có mùi vị riêng và chúng đều hợp với khẩu vị của mình. Cuối cùng gia đình mình phải nói lời chia tay với Sapa và mình có thể quay trở lại nơi đây một ngày nào đó trong một tương lai không xa.

Last summer vacation, I traveled around Viet Nam with my family. Firstly, I visited Ha Long Bay for 2 days. I stayed in a hotel. I swam on the beach and enjoyed some seafoods. Then I visited Hue for 3 days. I saw the citadel. I went boating along the Huong river. Next, I visited Nha Trang for 2 days. I stayed at my friends house. Finally, I visited Ho Chi Minh city. I stayed with my uncle there. I visited Saigon Water Park. I love my last summer vacation very much.

Summer vacations are the best time to relax and enjoy with family and friends, it’s the time I eagerly waited for every year. This year’s summer vacation is so special to me because it was the first time I’ve been on a trip with my colleagues. We had a wonderful time in Vung Tau – the city which has most beatiful beaches in Vietnam.

We stayed there for 2 days at a small but convenient hostel. First day, we got up early to see the sunrise on the beach. It’s the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen. Then we swam and lay down on the sand to enjoy beautiful sunlight and the clear blue sky. We also enjoyed delicious seafood and drank fresh coconuts.

The next day, it took us about 30 minutes to hike up the Small Mountain to visit the Lighthouse. But it was really worth the try! The lighthouse affords a panoramic magnificent view of the whole of Vung Tau and is a really interesting site. On top of Small Mountain, there is the enormous 28m figure of Jesus gazing across the East Sea. This is the largest sculpture in the Southern Vietnam. The two shoulders of the figure are balconies, each able to accommodate up to six people, which offer a splendid view of the surrounding landscape.

The weather during the time we stayed was really good and the local people were friendly. We took many photographs to save our memorable vacation and bought a lot of souvenirs, too. I just had so many good memories of that whole trip. Everything was great, but what made the trip even greater was the fact that I was able to bulid a stronger relationships with my colleagues.

I have many hobbies, but I reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabulary by exposing many new words. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods of time. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tells me about the world’s history, let me see the structure of the human body, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activities.

My hobby is doing shopping, and I think it is a little bit costly. I do not have enough time and money to serve my love for shopping, so I can only spend my weekend wandering at the malls. I looking around the stores and their variety kinds of goods. There are so many colorful things that catch my eyes, such as clothes, shoes, accessories, toys, and other stuffs. Usually I do not by a lot of things; I just remember their brand names and then wait for them to be put on the sale-off section. I have a huge amount of flyers about promoting program at many different malls and stores. It is my other little hobby to collect them, and maybe someday I can have an exhibition about my flyer collection. I have a friend that shares the same love with shopping, and we usually spend our weekend together lingering to look at the stores. My family and friends also ask me to by stuffs for them, because they know I can choose the good ones with reasonable price. I enjoy shopping a lot, and sometimes I am glad that I can help other people with my little hobby.

One of my favorite singers is Michael Jackson – a worldwide music legend. I remember the first time when I watched his performances with my friend, I was immediately attracted. His songs were heavily emphasized on the beats and his charisma was amazing.

All of his lyrics are so powerful and have a lot of meaning layers that pulled me out of depression during my miserable times and helped me to shape who I am today. In his career, he got a lot of prizes: the first prize of male pop vocalists, of records and of R&B singers on Grammy in 1984. I like Michael Jackson with all his songs, and how he inspired many generations. He was a gift to the world.
