Every year during the summer holidays, my family often goes on holidays. One of my favorite places to visit is Dalat. We hired a car and drove for about two hours to arrive in Hai Phong province then got on a ferry to reach the destination. In spite of feeling a little bit tired, we got really excited when the beautiful coastline and sparkling blue ocean appeared in front of our eyes. We booked a family room in a 3-star hotel, which was pretty large and luxurious. The first activity we were so eager to experience was swimming. Unfortunately, the waves were too big for us to swim but it was fun to jump over them anyway. At night time, it was great to take off our shoes and wander along the coastline. The wind carried the distinctive smell of the sea, giving us a sense of peace and relaxation. Early on the next day, I woke up at 5 o’clock to follow my mom to the local market. We also hired bicycles to get around and explore the neighborhood, as well as find a souvenir shop to buy some gifts for our friends. On the last day in Cat Ba, my family took part in a small trip around Lan Ha bay by boat to immerse ourselves in the spectacular natural beauty here. The most interesting experience we had on the holiday was enjoying dinner on a boat. Eating fresh food on the sea when the sun came down really went beyond my expectations. After three days, we returned home but could not forget the great time we spent there. It was definitely one of the best memories of mine and my family members’.

Phong nha cave is a world heritage site .The full name of that cave is Phong nha ke bang belong to Ke bang mountains in Quang Binh Phong Nha-Ke Bang area is noted for its cave and grotto systems as it is composed of 300 caves and grottos, of which only 20 have been surveyed by Vietnamese and British scientists; 17 of these are in located in the Phong Nha area and three in the Ke Bang area. Phong Nha holds several world cave records, as it has the longest underground river, as well as the largest caverns and passageways. The park derives it name from Phong Nha cave, the most beautiful of all, containing many fascinating rock formations, and Ke Bang forest. The plateau on which the park is situated is probably one of the finest and most distinctive examples of a complex karst landform in Southeast Asia. This national park was listed in UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites in 2003 for its geographical values as defined in its criteria.

Visiting Da Nang, I am really impressed by Ba Na hill containing longest cable car from land to the top of the mountain. It is an unforgettable experience for visitors to observe breathtaking sight and picturesque scene. Beside, the beaches have long golden sand, deep blue sea in addition huge bunches of fresh coconut. Tourist has a chance to relax, enjoy the peace and nature, play aqua sport. Moreover, the city has many big bridges : Dragon bridge, Quay bridge and a large outdoor entertainment named Asia park. Additionally, there are a lot of delicious typical dishes such as: Quang noodle, xeo cake, pork pan-cake and others. Ha Long Bay is in Quang Ninh province .It's about 100 kilometers from Hai Duong city,so you can go there by bus or car.It's very beautiful in the morning and in the sunset.There are aloso many beautiful islands and caves such as : Rooster and Hen Island ,Trinh Nu cave,...but the biggest and most beautiful is Tuan Chau island .When you go there you must take a boat ride around it.but there are many laws you must follow like:keep quiet at night,don't step on the grass, too much.I like Ha Long very much.
I was born and grew up in a small village of DAI TU district, in THAI NGUYEN province. It is about 150 km from here.
It is a small village because it has only a population of 1000 with a size of 3 square kilometers
There is a primary school in the village, so it is very convenient for children to go to school. There is a small market with a lot of fresh food. The food here is cheaper and fresher than the one in the city.
My village has some nice view, such as: large fields where we can fly a kite and Cau river, where I could swim and my mother usually wash clother there.
Centre of my village is a khuon ga pagoda, it has a large yard,where we usually play badminton, tabletenis or meet each other to chat, next to the pagoda is a large lake. I going fishing here very much.
Especially, I tea of my hometown a lot, because it very delecious, I usually drink a cup of tea before I start working.
The people in my village are very hospitable, friendly, helpful and generous. They are all hard working people. They mainly live on farming and business…
Being a learner of Tran quoc Tuan university, I only come home once a month , so I miss my hometown very much.
Life in the city is full of activity. Early in the morning hundreds of people rush out of their homes in the manner ants do when their nest is broken. Soon the streets are full of traffic. Shops and offices open, students flock to their schools and the day’s work begins. The city now throb with activity, and it is full of noise. Hundreds of sight-seers, tourists and others visit many places of interest in the city while businessmen from various parts of the world arrive to transact business.
Then towards evening, the offices and day schools begin to close. Many of the shops too close. There is now a rush for buses and other means of transport. Everyone seems to be in a hurry to reach home. As a result of this rush, many accidents occur. One who has not been to the city before finds it hard to move about at this time. Soon, however, there is almost no activity in several parts of the city. These parts are usually the business centres. With the coming of night, another kind of actịvity begins. The streets are now full of colorful lights. The air is cooler and life becomes more leisurely. People now seek entertainment. Many visit the cinemas, parks and clubs, while others remain indoors to watch television or listen to the radio. Some visit friends and relatives and some spend their time reading books and magazines. Those who are interested in polis discuss the latest polial developments. At the same time, hundreds of crimes are committed. Thieves and robbers who wait for the coming of night become active, and misfortune descends upon many. For the greed of a few, many are killed, and some live in constant fear. To bring criminals to juse, the officers of the law are always on the move.
Workers and others who seek advancement in their careers attend educational institutions which are open till late in the night. Hundreds of them sit for various examinations every year. The facilities and opportunities that the people in the city have to further their studies and increase their knowledge of human affairs are indeed many. As a result, the people of the city are usually better informed than those of the village, where even a newspaper is sometimes difficult to get.
The city could, therefore, be described as a place of ceaseless activity. Here, the drama of life is enacted every day.
I was born and raised in Nghia Trung, Viet Yen, Bac Giang. Here is the place where I love the best. It is a peaceful place. The air is fresh. The space is quiet. We can enjoy healthy natural conditions without worrying much about environmental pollution. As for social security, my village is a safer place than a city. Morever, people here are friendly and ready to help each other. Most of them live on agriculture and breeding cattle as well as poultry. So the food there are always fresh and tasty. Although I go anywhere, I still think of my village, Nghia Trung .
My neiborhood is not big, but it has a nice view. But, some year recently, people often do not take rubbish into recycle bins, walk on the grass, use more dirty energy, noise pollution,.... So I dis something much. Althought my neighbor is so dirty, peole here improve themselevs. I my neighborhood because it's my homeland, the peole here so friendly, there are a lot of parks, supermarkets, school, ... here.
Amidst the immense mountains and forests of Lam Dong province, Dalat, a beautiful town, captivates all those who have been there once. I am one of those.
Dalat is often called the City of Eternal Spring. Flowers of all colors, with many species, the most numerous of which are orchids. More than anywhere else in Vietnam, Dalat sees flowers vie with one another in blossoming in spring. I used to get up early in the morning on fine days to welcome dawn on the highlands. Opening the windows, I had a breath-taking view of nature, and enjoyed the fragrance of wild flowers carried by the clouds, I felt relieved in my heart.
In the late afternoons, I often reserved for visits to the Valley of Love and Sigh Lake covered with quiet pine forests. Twilight on Dalat also brought many pictures and sensations. As a certain poet said, “Dalat is the city of honeymoon, the city of love”.
After two week is rest in Dalat, my health improved a lot. I think in the very near future Dalat will be Switzerland in the South-East Asia. The wind rustling through the pine forests, the roar of waterfalls, the chirping of birds and the clatter of horse ‘s hooves…all of these unforgettable memories always remain with me.
