I was born and grown up on the poor land in Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province. That’s where deeply attaches to me 24 years of life. If anyone who asks me that “What’s the thing your most proud of?” .I will answer that’s my hometown. Duc Tho is the land poor where the people live by rice cultivation, breeding, and fishing. Although the life is very difficult, but the people is very friendly, and studious. In Duc Tho, there is a Tung Anh village where called “Doctor village”. Duc Tho is also the home of Tran Phu Secretary General, and marked many memories of the great leader Ho Chi Minh.
If you come to Duc Tho, you will feel many interesting things, visiting Tran Phu tombstone, La Giang dyke, rowing on La driver, and enjoying the traditional songs. In the evening, they can enjoy a special food which is “mussel rice” – just only eat one time, you will never forget.
Beautiful and unobtrusive! Duc Tho always tries to grow, and to improve the life of people, but keeping the traditional culture.

I was born and grown up on the poor land in Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province. That’s where deeply attaches to me 24 years of life. If anyone who asks me that “What’s the thing your most proud of?” .I will answer that’s my hometown. Duc Tho is the land poor where the people live by rice cultivation, breeding, and fishing. Although the life is very difficult, but the people is very friendly, and studious. In Duc Tho, there is a Tung Anh village where called “Doctor village”. Hanoi is located in the center of the Red River Delta. It is one of the major economic, cultural and polial centers of Vietnam. When you come here, you will be surprised by the youthful and dynamic pace. The infrastructure is very morden and magnificent . Along the avenues, there are many buildings, shopping malls, administrative offices. Hanoi is also home to many prestigious and well-known universities in the country such as Foreign Trade university, Hanoi university of science and technology, National Economics university, etc. During the day, roads are full with vehicles and traffic congestion, especially is at rush hours, when students go to school and adults go to work. However, at night, Hanoi is more bustling than ever. All the way, the roof are in brightly colorful light, restaurants are on display. At this time, almost everyone has returned home from work, gathering at the edge of the family. After that, they together go shopping, to entertaiment centers and parks to relax after a hard-working day. With me, Hanoi is a great place to live and work. At night wandering in the streets of Hanoi, the smell of milk flowers along the roads makes the soul become strangely peaceful. In the near future, I will build up my own beautiful house there.

I come from Vinh Long city, a very beautiful city. It is in Vinh Long province, located in the southwestern part of Vietnam. Vinh Long has a mix of urban and rural values including natural beauty and modern infrastructure. The road back to my hometown has been remodeled and easier to go than before with new modern paved roads and bridges. Besides, there is also no shortage of meadows, marshes and cattle alternating on both sides of the road. There aren't many houses here, and the air is fresh and there's no emissions from traffic or factories. If we go further, we will reach the city center. This is not a big and modern city, but it has enough facilities for its residents. Vinh Long is famous for tourism, and visitors would love to spend a day sailing along rivers and floating markets. There aren't too many modern things in my hometown, but the idyllic nature makes me love it more.

Tôi đến từ thành phố Vĩnh Long, một thành phố rất xinh đẹp. Thành phố thuộc tỉnh Vĩnh Long, nằm về phía Tây Nam Việt Nam. Vĩnh Long có sự kết hợp giữa những giá trị nông thôn và thành thị bao gồm những cảnh đẹp thiên nhiên và cơ sở hạ tầng hiện đại. Đường về quê tôi đã được sửa sang lại và dễ đi hơn xưa với những con đường nhựa và cầu mới hiện đại. Bên cạnh đó, cũng không thiếu những cánh đồng cỏ, đầm nước và gia súc xen kẽ hai bên đường. Không có nhiều nhà ở đây, và bầu không khí vẫn trong lành và không có khí thải từ giao thông hoặc nhà máy. Nếu đi xa hơn, chúng ta sẽ đến được trung tâm thành phố. Đây không phải một thành phố quá lớn và hiện đại, nhưng có đủ trang thiết bị cho người dân. I have a big family which gives me the biggest love. My parents have three children, and we also live with our grandparents. Both of my parents are out for work to make sure we have a comfortable life. My father works at the office, and my mother works at the bank. They usually leave early in the morning without having breakfast at home, and my grandmother is the one who cooks for me and my siblings. Our grandparents are still young and very healthy; they take care of us pretty well when our parents are busy. I go to school by my own bike, and my grandfather takes care of my two little brothers. My favorite time of the day is dinner time, because the whole family will all gather after a long day. Seven people with seven stories about their days make the atmosphere become very warm and happy. I know my parents work very hard, so I try my best to become a good daughter and sister. I usually help with the chores, cooking, and looking after my little brothers. I love my family a lot, and I will try harder to keep our happiness lasts forever.

My beloved family has four people; my parents, my sister and I. My father runs his own shop at our house. His shop sales many different kinds of plants, and I love to help him taking care of them. Every morning, he wakes up early to water the trees before taking me to school. My mother is a teacher, she teaches at our local secodary school. She is an example of a beautiful and strong woman since she can perfectly balance between work and family. She always takes time to make breakfast for us before going to work. Although my father also cook dinner sometimes, I am only in love with her delicious food. My older sister is now studying at university, therefore she lives apart from us. Every weekend, she catch the bus to visit us and stay for one or two nights. We usually do all the things together, so I miss her so much when she first left home for school. I love and treasure every moment that I spend with them, and I always think that my family is the best thing that I could ever have.

“Tôi sinh ra và lớn lên trên miền đất nghèo thuộc huyện Đức Thọ, tỉnh Hà Tĩnh. Đó là nơi gắn bó với tôi 24 năm cuộc đời. Nếu có ai hỏi tôi rằng “Điều gì làm tôi tự hào nhất?”. Tôi sẽ trả lời đó chính là quê hương tôi. Đức Thọ là mảnh đất nghèo, người dân ở đây sống bằng nghề trồng lúa, chăn nuôi và đánh cá. Nếu đặt chân đến Đức Thọ, bạn sẽ cảm nhận được nhiều điều thú vị, đi tham quan mộ cố tổng bí thư Trần Phú, đê La Giang, chèo thuyền trên sông La, và nghe câu hò ví dặm. Khi hoàng hôn xuống, cùng nhau thưởng thức cơm hến – một đặc sản ẩm thức chỉ ăn một lần là nhớ.
