Có rất nhiều loài san hô cũng như rùa, cá heo và loài cá cúi đang nguy cấp cũng sống ở đây. Vườn cũng là nhà của rất nhiều loại gỗ quý và các loại thảo dược. Ba cây cổ thụ ở trong vườn cũng được đặt tên là “Cây di sản Việt Nam”.
Vườn quốc gia Côn Đảo, giống như những vườn quốc gia khác, đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc bảo vệ những loài nguy cấp cũng như bảo vệ môi trường và các tài nguyên thiên nhiên. Nó cũng giúp nâng cao nhận thức của người dân địa phương về sự quan trọng của thiên nhiên.

Tran Temple Festival, one of the largest annual spring festivals in Vietnam, is held on the 14th
night and 15th day of the first lunar month at the national historical complex of the TranKings’ shrines and tombs in Tien Duc Commune, Hung Ha District, Nam Dinh City.
