Are you looking for a cheap, clean, effective source of power that doesn't cause pollution or waste natural resource? Look no further solar energy from the Sun

At present, most of our electricity comes from the use of coal and gas, oil or nuclear power. This power could be provided by the Sun. One percent of the solar energy thet reaches the Earth is enough to provide power for the total population

Many countries are already using solar energy. Solar panels are plaaced on the roofs of a house and the Sun's energy is used to heat water. The energy can be stored a number of days, so or cloudy days you can use solar energy, too

Questions

1. Is the solar energy an effective source os power?

=>Yes,it is

2.Where are the solar panels placed?

=>They are placed on the roof of a house.

3.Is the solar energy used in Vietnam now?

=>Yes,it is

 Wind power is one of the energy resources that have been in use for a very long time. It was used in powering sailing ships, which made it possible for explorers to sail around their trade routes in distant lands. A single windmill can power crop irrigation and cover family energy needs such as water pumping and electric lights. However, in the present time there are several windmills that are used to generate required energy mostly for industrial uses. Many of the wind turbines can capture much power  all at once before feeding it to the power grid. This is commonly known as wind farms and has been in use for many years all around the world. It is only the United States that is going slow in terms of accepting this alternative energy source.

     Wind power is renewable, and it does not cause any air pollution. Advancement in technologies has brought down the cost of setting up wind power plants. However, wind energy only be used in areas with high winds, which means that it can not be used as a source to extract energy anywhere on Earth. Wind turbines sometimes create noise disturbance and can not be used near residential areas. These disadvantages have made the use of wind energy limited to particular regions only.

1. How was wind energy used in the past?…………………………………………………………………………………………

2. How can wind energy be used in  agriculture?………………………………………………………..………………

3. Which country is going slow in accepting wind energy?………………………………………………………………………

4. What are the good points of wind power?………………………………………………………………………………

People who live in mountainous areas have to gather wood for fuel. This takes a lot of time. For many people living in rural areas, biogas is the largest energy resource available. The main use of biogas is for cooking and heating, but it can also provide energy for public transport. As biogas is smoke-free, it helps solve the problem of indoor air pollution. Moreover, it’s made from plant waste and animal manure. They cost almost nothing.

The tendency to use renewable energy sources in developing countries is on the increase as non-renewable ones are running outIn the future, the wind and the sun will be used as the most important environmentally friendly energy sources.

We use many different energy sources to do work for us. Energy sources are classified into two groups - renewable and nonrenewable. Non-renewable energy sources are those that take millions of years to form and will run out some day. It is energy that comes from fossil fuels such as coal, crude oil, and natural gas. Fossil fuels are mainly made up of carbon and were formed millions of years ago. The chemical reaction which takes place when we burn fossil fuels releases carbon compounds such as carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide into the air. Carbon dioxide is one of the green house gases which is contributing to global warming and air pollution. On the other hand, renewable energy sources will never run out, are better for the environment and do not cause pollution. Renewable energy is often called green energy because it is a natural energy, always available and does not have to be formed like nonrenewable energy. The green energy is always there. For example, the Sun consistently shines, water is abundant, and the winds blow throughout the year. The five types include solar, energy from the Sun; geothermal, energy from heat within the Earth; hydroelectric, energy from moving water; biomass, energy from dead plants and microorganisms and finally, energy from the wind.
