My hobby is reading knowledgeable and interesting books in my square time. Reading is such a good habit which healthy for your brain and keeps your brain functioning actively. Reading is a wonderful way to keeps you relax and happy. For me, there is nothing makes me happier than to have a stack of books on my nightstand to attack on a night when there is no alarm clock waiting the next morning. It’s the great source of enjoyment, inspiration , instruction, and knowledge. Reading book can make us disciplined, punctual, loyal and most importantly a very successful person in this life. My hobby is doing shopping, and I think it is a little bit costly. I do not have enough time and money to serve my love for shopping, so I can only spend my weekend wandering at the malls. I looking around the stores and their variety kinds of goods. There are so many colorful things that catch my eyes, such as clothes, shoes, accessories, toys, and other stuffs. Usually I do not by a lot of things; I just remember their brand names and then wait for them to be put on the sale-off section. I have a huge amount of flyers about promoting program at many different malls and stores. It is my other little hobby to collect them, and maybe someday I can have an exhibition about my flyer collection. I have a friend that shares the same love with shopping, and we usually spend our weekend together lingering to look at the stores. My family and friends also ask me to by stuffs for them, because they know I can choose the good ones with reasonable price. Book is one part of my beautiful life and reading books is my favourite hobby. I like detective story best, especially Detective Conan and Detective Sherlock Holmes. Everybody has his or her own hobby. My favourite hobby is reading. I enjoy reading a book when I am free. I started to get the hobby from my father when I was four years old. My father is a researcher so he has a great collection of books on many fields: literature, science, art,…
I enjoy reading because it allows me to explore my own imaginative world. I keep the hobby of reading at least one hour every day. I usually read books at home, in my own room, at my office or at the local library. On my freetime, I can spend hours reading and thinking about facts described in each kind of books.
My favourite author is J.K.Rowling who wrote world-famous books “ Harry Potter”.
For me a good book is not only a true companion but also a well-experienced teacher guiding me through my life. There are a lot of advantages of reading. Reading makes me feel relaxed and calm. It has the miracle to relieve my suffering and my hardship and reveal to me strange and new horizons. I can also learn new vocabularies and grammars. So I can further improve my English. Moreover, it gives me unlimited imaginations. I can learn about different cultures of other countries in the world, too.
