His head was bent over a rectangular object and his hands were busy carving something. As soon as he saw me, he hid the object behind his back and smiled guiltily, like someone caught in a naughty act. Just before my birthday, my dear grandfather fell sick. On the eve of my birthday, he passed away. The next day, i found the wooden pencil case in his drawer. There were some words carved on it:"Happy birthday to my beloved grandaughter".I was touched. So that was what my grandfather had been so secretive about. Since that day, i have always cherished the birthday gift from my grandfather. To me, it is a priceless gift

Last semester, I had a very good result at school, so my parents decided to give me a present that I had always dreamed of. That special gift is a laptop, and it is what I really need at the moment. It is a Vaio laptop with an elegant design. My parents bought the white one, which is also my favorite color. It is not an ideal laptop for very complicated tasks, yet it still meets all of my demands. I can easily carry it everywhere because it is a small and light one. Besides, there are also some useful spare parts that come along with it such as a removable keyboard and mouse. Whenever I need to type and edit things for a long time, I just have to plug these things in and the tasks will become much easier. vforum.vn Before getting this one, I had to borrow my sister’s laptop whenever I had work at school that related to it. Bây giờ thì tôi đã có nó cho riêng mình, và tôi có thể làm bất cứ thứ gì tôi muốn mà không cần phải xin phép. Chiếc máy tính xách tay này là món quà tuyệt vời nhất mà tôi từng có, và tôi sẽ bảo quản nó thật tốt trong một thời gian dài.

My favorite movie of all time is Titanic. It is the best love story I have ever watched. I watched this movie many times but I never got tired watching it. Whenever I watch it, I always cry.
The reasons I it so much are the grand scenery and the roman content. The film is about the love story of Rose Dewitt Bukater and Jack Dawson. Jack was a free-spirited poor young man but he got a ket for a luxurious ship, Titanic. Rose was from the American upper class and was engaged to a man. She was reluctant to marry him. She met Jack in Titanic and they fell deeply in love even there was a huge gap between them.
Titanic was headed to America from England. However, the ship crashed into an iceberg on the way. The side of it broke up and the ship was flooded. Not everyone could escape safely. Many people dead include Jack. Rose was survived because Jack helped her to climb on a boat. Jack sacrificed himself for Rose. Although It was only a classical sad love story, it encompassed a large range of emotions, laughter, rage, terror and the feeling of deep love. I was touched and especially appreciate the love between them. They both tried to save each other. It showed the power of love could do everything.
I think the movie had the exellent content which was based on a real story. The two main actor and actress Leonardo and Kate had an outstanding performance. Beside, the scenery and the stage properties really made me amazed. From the big ship to the small cushions at Rose’s room, they were all delicate. Last but not least, the great theme song “My heart will go on” by Celine Dion marked the end of the story. Even Jack leave Rose forever, her heart will keep going on.
This is the best movie I have ever watched. No wonder why Titanic already won 11 Academy Awards. I recommend that everyone should watch this movie at least once.

I have many hobbies, but I reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabulary by exposing many new words. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods of time. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tells me about the world’s history, let me see the structure of the human body, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activities.

In the word, there are a lot of famous singers but the person I love best is Justin Bieber.His first name is Justin Drew Bieber .He is 22 years old. He is from Canada.He can dance .He also play with drum,piano...He composes a lot of songs such as:What do you mean,....Athough he sings well, he is very handsome so he has many fans.In the future, I want to be like him.I will compose more and more songs and I want to be a good singer.

I to eat many different kinds of food, but my favorite one of all time is Pho. Pho is already a so famous food of Vietnam, and most people will immediately think of it when we mention about Vietnamese cuisine. It is understandable that many people fall in love with Pho, because it has featuring smell and taste that we cannot find anywhere else. To have a good pot of soup, we need to have many different kinds of spices such as anise, cinnamon, etc; and the most important thing are the bones. Those bones needed to be cooked for long hours to get the sweet and tasty stock, and then we combine other ingredients. The noodle is also special since it is not other kinds of noodle. It is made from rice flour, and it is thicker than the others. After pouring the stock into a bowl of noodle, the next step is to put on the beef slices and other toppings. I to eat rare beef slices and meat ball, and they are also the basic toppings that Vietnamese people to choose. We finish the bowl with some basil, coriander, bean sprout and black pepper. Besides, we can also other side dishes to eat with Pho egg and blood in boiling stock. All of them create a harmonious flavor that can attract even the strictest eaters. Although Pho has many versions from different parts of the country, it is always the national dish that almost all Vietnamese love to eat. I have been eating Pho for about 20 years, and I will continue to choose it as my favorite food forever.
Around the world there are many cuisine but I still spaghetti the most. The main ingredients to make spaghetti are noodles, beef and tomatoes. Besides, we can add onion, carrot, bean or other kind of vegetable. At weekends, my mother and I usually go to the market, buy goods and cook spaghetti for my family instead of traditional dishes. It’s easy to cook this food. All we have to do are boiling noodles, chopping beef and making a good sauce of tomatoes. There is a tip for a perfect sauce is adding a slice of lemon into it. If there is a need of vegetable, It can be served with carrot and peas. Spaghetti supplies high nutrients and several vitamins, which good for your health especially for diet people. Moreover, spaghetti is famous for its delicious taste and convenience as fast food. It’s known as typical traditional food of Italy. Although spaghetti originate from Europe, it’s more widespread in Asia specifically Vietnam. Nowadays, It is popular food not only in Italy but also in other countries.
