I have just returned from a 1-week holiday with my friends in Da Nang and Quang Ngai. We stayed most of the time in Da Nang. Then we spent the last few nights in a very picturesque and historic place called Hoi An Old Town. We had such a relaxing time on our holiday. We enjoyed some wonderful local food. It’s really delicious. The activities we enjoyed on holiday were walking, swimming and go out at night. The water is so fresh and clean, and the temperature is just refreshing – not too hot and not too cold. We went hiking in the mountains nearly for some days, which was very good for our fitness. I really enjoyed this holiday. I loved the fresh air and the scenery, and of course the food. I will certainly be going back there another year, as I think it’s one of my favourite parts of the world.

Chủ nhật tuần trước, lớp mình tổ chức một chuyến đi dã ngoại đến đảo Sơn Tinh camp. Chúng mình xuất phát từ lúc 5 giờ và phải mất 3 tiếng mới đến nơi. Trên đường đi, mọi người đều khá hồi hộp và háo hức. Hôm ấy, trời rất đẹp, không khí trong lành. Trên đảo có rất nhiều nhà sàn và xích đu. Chúng mình được phân công dựng lều. Sau đó, mình tham gia những trò chơi tập thể như mèo đuổi chuột, bịt mắt bắt dê,... Các bạn đều rất hào hứng và thích thú. Một số bạn thua phải chịu phạt, làm mặt con bò rất buồn cười. Hôm ấy, cô giáo còn tổ chức sinh nhật cho một số bạn trong lớp. Đến trưa, đa số mọi người đều cảm thấy đói, chúng mình trở về lều, ăn những thức ăn đã được chuẩn bị sẵn từ hôm trước, sau đó, ngồi kể chuyện và ca hát, chụp ảnh chung. Buổi chiều, chúng mình được dạo biển bằng tàu thủy. Đây là lần đầu mình được trải nghiệm đi trên mặt nước, cảm giác vô cùng tuyệt vời. Đến 5 giờ, mọi người phải thu xếp hành lí để trở về, mình mua được một số món quà lưu niệm nhỏ. Trên đường đi, nhìn bóng hòn đảo xa dần, mình mong rằng sẽ có nhiều hơn nữa những chuyến dã ngoại lí thú như vầy.

Everytime summer is coming, I have chance to travel to many places, enjoy the things that only summer brings about. My favorite place is the beach, where is sunny, windy. I can have chance to enjoy swimming, diving into the sea, contemplating the colorful coral reefs. My sister and I always play volleyball with the other on the beach, sunbathe and build our own sand castle. In addition, we also paripate in some adventure games such as parachuting, surfing, highwire ... It brings to me extremely comfortable moment and fun. Amidst the immense mountains and forests of Lam Dong province, Dalat, a beautiful town, captivates all those who have been there once. I am one of those.
Dalat is often called the City of Eternal Spring. Flowers of all colors, with many species, the most numerous of which are orchids. More than anywhere else in Vietnam, Dalat sees flowers vie with one another in blossoming in spring. I used to get up early in the morning on fine days to welcome dawn on the highlands. Opening the windows, I had a breath-taking view of nature, and enjoyed the fragrance of wild flowers carried by the clouds, I felt relieved in my heart.
In the late afternoons, I often reserved for visits to the Valley of Love and Sigh Lake covered with quiet pine forests. Twilight on Dalat also brought many pictures and sensations. As a certain poet said, “Dalat is the city of honeymoon, the city of love”.
After two week is rest in Dalat, my health improved a lot. I think in the very near future Dalat will be Switzerland in the South-East Asia. The wind rustling through the pine forests, the roar of waterfalls, the chirping of birds and the clatter of horse ‘s hooves…all of these unforgettable memories always remain with me.

There are many night schools where people who cannot go to the day schools for some reason or other can continue their studies. And, the government of Singapore is still doing its best to make further improvements in the city for the benefit of the people.
During my stay in Singapore, I went out every day with my father to see the beautiful and interesting places and things in the city. One day we went to the Tiger Balm Garden where I saw several statues of people, animals and other strange creature beautifully made and kept. The sea near this garden makes this a pleasant place to visit. We spent almost half of the day at this place.
Another day we visited the museum where I saw hundreds of curious things preserved for scholars and others. It was indeed an education to see all those things. There is so much to learn here that every visit by any person is sure to add to his knowledge.
I also visited some of the harbours and saw the large ships anchored there. The sight of the ships aroused a desire in me to cross the oceans and go round the world. I was indeed deeply impressed by the activities at the harbour.
Then every night, I went round the town and visited some of the parks and other places of interest. The numerous sights and the constant stream of traffic kept the city alive. I visited a few of the cinemas as well. Có những lớp học ban đêm cho những người không thể đến trường vào ban ngày vì một lý do nào đó để họ tiếp tục học tập. Và hiện nay chính phủ Singapore đang làm hết sức mình để ngày càng phát triển thành phố vì lợi ích cho người dân Singapore.
Trong khi dừng chân ở Singapore, hàng ngày tôi ra phố dạo chơi với bố và ngắm nhìn cảnh vật thi vị rà đẹp đẽ của thành phố. Một ngày nọ tôi đến vườn Tiger Balm nơi tôi thấy có vài bức tượng người, nhiều loài thú và những tạo vật lạ kỳ được tạo tác và gìn giữ rất công phu. Chúng tôi ở đó gần nửa ngày.
Chúng tôi cũng tham quan viện bảo tàng, ở đó tôi thấy hàng trăm thứ quý giá được giữ gìn cho các học giả và những người khác. Thật là một cơ hội học tập khi được xem tất cả các vật này. Ở đây có rất nhiều điều để học hỏi đến nỗi bất cứ người nào đến thăm viện bảo tàng cũng có thêm kiến thức cho mình.
Tôi cũng đi thăm vài hải cảng và thấy những con tàu lớn thả neo ở Đó. Cảnh tượng tàu bè khuấy động trong tôi ước muốn vượt đại dương đi vòng quanh thế giới. Các hoạt động ở bến cảng thật sự gây cho tôi ấn tượng sâu sắc.
Rồi mỗi đêm tôi đều đi quanh thành phố viếng thăm những công viên và thắng cảnh khác. Vô số ánh đèn và dòng xe cộ bất tận làm thành phố rất sống động. Tôi cũng đến thăm một vài rạp chiếu bóng. Tóm lại tôi yêu thích mỗi khoảnh khắc tôi sống tại thành phố Singopore nổi tiếng này.

We have alredy seen Westminster Abbey, Big Ben (now it called Elizabeth’s Tower), The Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral, London Bridge, The Tower of london and The Waxworks Madame Tussaunds Museum. There are the models of famous people from pop stars to prime ministers made from wax in this museum. They look real. It’s so interesting.
My parents and I are walking on Trafalgar Square now. There is Nelson’s Column in its centre which is guarded by four lion statues at its base. By the way, I sent you this postcard with a picture of Trafalgar Square.
The weather is not fine today, it’s foggy and rainy. But it doesn’t spoil our walking.
