My weekend.

I am a high school student. I go to school every day from Monday to Saturday. I am very busy with my studies. Sunday is my holiday.

On Sunday morning, I get up later than usual. After breakfast, I come to my close friend’s and we often go shopping in the downtown areas. Sometimes we go on a picnic in the countryside. In the afternoon, I prefer having a rest in my room, reading books or listening to pop music. Then after dinner, I prepare my lessons for the following weekdays and go to bed early.

Once in a while, I spend my weekend joining the social activities organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of my school. We usually go along the streets raising money for charity or travel to remote areas to give help to poor people.

Sunday is a good time for me. It refreshes my mind after a week’s hard work.

Dich : Tôi là một học sinh trung học. Tôi đi học mỗi ngày từ thứ Hai đến thứ Bảy. Tôi rất bận rộn với việc học hành. Chủ Nhật là ngày nghỉ của tôi.

Vào sáng Chủ Nhật, tôi thức dậy trễ hơn thường lệ. Sau bữa ăn sáng, tôi đến nhà người bạn thân và chúng tôi thường đi mua sắm ở những khu vực trung tâm thanh phố. Đôi khi chúng tôi đi chơi giải trí ở vùng nông thôn. Vào buổi chiều, tôi thích nghỉ ngơi trong phòng riêng, đọc sách hoặc nghe nhạc theo phong cách dân gian. Rồi sau bữa cơm tối, tôi sửa soạn bài vỡ cho những ngày tiếp theo trong tuần và đi ngủ sớm.

Thỉnh thoảng, tôi dành ngày cuối tuần tham gia các hoạt động xã hội do Đoàn Thanh Niên Cộng Sản Hồ Chí Minh của trường tôi tổ chức. Chúng tôi thường đi dọc theo những đường phố quyên tiền để làm từ thiện hoặc đi đến những vùng xa xôi để giúp đỡ những người nghèo.

Chủ Nhật là thời gian tốt đối với tôi. Nó làm đầu óc tôi tỉnh táo sau một tuần lễ làm việc vất vả.
