The Hung King Temple Festival is annually held from 8thto the 11th days of the third lunar month. The main festival day is on the 10th day of the third lunar March, on which the National Assembly has approved Vietnamese working people to annually have one more national holiday to mark the anniversary of the Hung King’s death. Tet, one of the most important festivals in Vietnam , usually occurs around the end of January and the beginning of february or on the fist days based on the lunar calendar . Tet holiday is a wonderful occasion for Vietnamese families to celebrate in which people will dress new fancy clothes,reunite together, and serve some special traditional food . Vietnamese people usually dress new clothes during Tet holiday. The clothing in this occasion is spacial and colorful. Adults wear "Ao dai " while chidren wear new and fashionable clothes which their parents usually buy for them before Tet. Moreover , the warm atmosphere of the reunion that it brings to families is also an imporant thing to know about Tet. They give the greeting wishes to each other . Children may be the most excited because they can receive lucky money from the elders. One of the most meaningful things about Tet is united meal because people can enjoy traditional food together such as Banh Chung , Banh Tet , Vietnamese sausage , sticky rice or candied fruits
