I am a volunteer so I have done many things for the community service. Last month, I raised money and funds for the poor, and they were very hapy. I also donated books and clothes for the children. Last week, I provided houses and food for the homless, and they looked very happy, too. So far, I , and my classmates, have planted trees and beautiful flowers in the school yard. It was so great. I have collected the rubbish on the beach and in the sea then I recycle them. It helps protectthe environment. And I, together with my family, often go to the hospital to help every one there. They are so freindly and they seem very happy when they see us. Volunteering is very good and special to me 'cause I can help others. I 'll do more in the future.

I'm Phuong in class 6C. If I become a president of 3Rs Club, I will make a 3Rs Group in every class. Next, I will organize the recycling competition every month to reduce the rubbish and make everyone know how to recycle the rubbish or old clothes. Finally, I will collect the rubbish around the school every week to recycle them to reduce the garbage or sell them to earn money. I think if I become a president of the 3Rs Club, I will help the environment be greener, cleaner and more beautiful.

I know many festivals but the one I like the most is Tet. It is the most important festival in Vietnam. Tet is celebrated every year on January 1 of the lunar calendar. When Tet comes, we are 1 year old. Before Tet, family members will go to buy food, fruit, and flowers. And they also buy decorations and cherry blossom lines. People will decorate the house, and they will place the potted peach blossom tree in the right front position of the house. They also make banh chung, the traditional dish of our country. During Tet, everyone in the family will gather together and tell each other about the past years in order to enter a better New Year together. They will eat the same banh chung. After that, we will visit relatives and neighbors. And our children will receive lucky money. On New Year's Eve, everyone can watch the colorful fireworks in the sky together. I love Tet, every year I look forward to Tet, to see my loved ones again

My favourite leisure activity is reading. I like reading because it is a hobby that is useful and interesting: it's useful because you can find a lot of knowledge of all areas that you need; it's interesting because the books can give you the joy and help you relax after a day of toil, etc... Especially, when you join in the forum, you can meet a lot of people who have interests similar to yours, comment on the books or novels that interest you. I love books and also natural as reading books. When I was ten , I was awarded "The Scarlet Sails" of Alexandre Green by my grandfather. It is the first book that I have been. I read it many times. Up to now, I still love it and occasionally read it again. My love for books begun. I usually spend almost of free time choosing book with my friends, participate in dicussion on the forum and reading . Every weekend and all holidays when I have no work to do, I often read books and ruminate on it. I also help some friends select the genres of books that they like. I always hope that I will have my own library in my future. I love books very much and perhaps, I couldn't live without them.

Music is an impotant part of our lives, so I listen to it every day. And now, it's become my hobby. I like listening to English music the most, however, from time to time, I like to listen to pop music in Japanese. And now, I am very idolized for one person, that is the virtual singer Hatsune Miku of the vocaloid group, in Japan. Her voice is tall and cute, that's why I like her very much. I really enjoy listening to music because it has many advantages. I can try to relax by listening to music after straight lessons. Being a volunteer is one of the best things you can do with your life. It's a great way to help other people. It's also very satisfying to know that you are not wasting your time and are helping people who need help. Many of us could and should be out there doing voluntary activities of some kind. So many volunteer organizations need extra hands. It is easy. Just pick up the phone and offer your services. I think too many of us settle into a lazy lifestyle. We just want to come home and watch TV. Life is much more interesting when you're a volunteer. I've found it opens your eyes to how some people live. It's sometimes sad to see how the government lets people down, but at least I'm doing my bit
