We have been used in battles from the 3rd century up when World War II. Because they are easily trained, they have been used to transport goods and carry huge logs from Forest which was once their home. Approximately twenty-five percents of the world's population of Asian elephants have been caught and trained to do variety jobs, including carrying passengers and help to capture more wild elephants. Elephants are considered to be more intelligent then most animals, including domestics dogs and cats. This shows by the way they can easily learn to do tricks and perform tasks, as soon as by the playful behavior of young elephants, who energetically play games if hide and seek, tug of war and tag.
