It is well known that health is considered as wealth. Everyone needs a good health and this is the precondition for a happy life. But once, when I was a teenager, I suffered from a health issue. I had a kidney stone and that was crushed.

Kidneys are considered as the filter for the human body and they may get damaged if the filter does not work in the right manner. Many of the people are suffering from kidney diseases and they did not take care of them. The key reason behind the kidney damage or disease is not taking proper care of the body, avoiding plenty of water and more. I also suffered from the kidney disease and fortunately, it was a minor one. Stones developed in my right kidney and the doctors told me that it had happened to my wrong lifestyle. In fact, they were right. I did not have a standard lifestyle rather I was unconventional than the other people. I did not drink enough water for a day, skipped meals, smoked too many cigarettes and much more. Often I skipped my breakfast and supper. For all such reasons, my body falls victim to the health disorder.

Before being diagnosed with the kidney stone, I felt severe pain in my right abdomen and particularly on the spots where the right kidney is located. Vomiting was another symptom with me. But as I did not have the idea that this might be related to kidney issues, I took some painkillers and felt comfortable. But after some days, I felt the trouble again. There was severe pain in the same place that made me mad almost. So, I went to a local doctor here and he also prescribed me a pain killer and injected me with some serums that reduced the pain level. I was fine for a few days and met the doctor again. This time, he asked me to have some tests and the X-ray discovered that there is a stone in my right kidney which is blocking the way of filtering water on the body.

Thereby, it was necessary for me to remove the stone. I was astonished how it developed inside the kidney. I heard about it to others that they were suffering from kidney stones. I laughed at them. This time, it was their chance to laugh at me. I also underwent some other tests to be confirmed about the stone and all the tests had the same report. So, I decided to remove the stone and consulted with a specialist doctor about my kidney issue. The doctor said that there are two ways to remove the kidney. The first way is that I could have an operation where they will penetrate into my belly and somehow bring out the stone and the second one was to insert a crusher through my reproductive organ and crush the stone smoothly. I am afraid of surgeries and operations. So, I agreed with the second option and went for it. On a fixed date, I entered into the operation theatre and it was done without any troubles.

It was unbearable to me to tolerate the pain when that attacked me. I could not control myself and often it happened that I pressed the part of my body to get relieved of the pain. I could not have imagined that I will be a patient of kidney disorders but it was a bad luck for me. I had to run after the doctors and most of the times the pain attacked me in the night times and it became difficult for me to find a doctor in that particular moment. Though I went to the hospitals, there were no specialised doctors in the midnight and the present medical officers were unable to make the right decisions. So, they only treated me with some painkillers and injections to control the pain. But once the stone was crushed, I felt relieved of the trouble. Now I do not have to run during the midnight to find a doctor. However, the doctors advised me to be aware of the issue in the future. They also advised me to take proper diets and plenty of water in a day. They also told me to cut the smoking as that is a highly harmful activity for kidneys. I try to follow their advice in the present days and been living a trouble-free healthy life.

I have an unusual hobby: carving eggshells. I started this hobby four years ago after getting a carved egg from my dad when he came back from Japan. It's amazing that something as fragile as an empty eggshell can be made into such a beautiful piece of art. I was so amazed that I learned how to carve them myself from the internet. I find carving eggshells a little difficult but so interesting and useful. The feeling of accomplishment when I finish a piece is absolutely awesome. This hobby also helps me be more patient and careful.

Van Mieu (The Temple of Literature) was constructed in 1070 during Ly Thanh Tong's dynasty. Its original purpose was to honor Confucius. In 1076, the first university of Vietnam called Quoc Tu Giam (The Imperial Academy), was established within this temple by Emperor Ly Nhan Tong. That's the reason why the complex has the name of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam up to now. Initially, Quoc Tu Giam was the school for princes and children of royal families and then expanded in the following year to admit top students from around the country.

Nowadays, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam is one of the most famous tourist destinations for both Vietnamese people and foreigners. It's also a place to celebrate doctorates and high ranking scholars of Vietnam. One special thing about this place is that there are 82 Doctors' stone tablets. They are tombstones with names and origins of 1304 doctors placed on the backs of stone tortoises. If you come here at the beginning of the year or in May, when many important examinations take place, you will catch sights of numerous families and students who come and pray for luck.

Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam opens daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the entrance fee for each adult is 30,000 VND.

Hello everyone, today I'd like to tell you some information about types and sources of energy. Energy is classified into two main groups: renewable and non-renewable.

The energy generated from natural sources such as the sun, wind, rain, and tides is called renewable energy. They are plentiful and can be generated again and again. They also have low carbon emissions so they are considered green and environment-friendly. Moreover, using renewable energy can reduce your electricity bills. Unfortunately, solar energy can be only used during the daytime but not during night or the rainy season. Geothermal energy also can bring toxic chemicals beneath the earth's surface to the top and can create environmental changes.

Non-renewable energy is the energy taken from other sources that are available on earth. They are limited and will run out in the future. They can't be re-generated in a short time.Fossil fuels - natural gas, oil and coal - are examples of them. They are cheap and easy to use. However, when burnt, they release toxic gases in the air so they cause serious environmental changes such as global warming. And the important thing is that non-renewable sources will expire someday. 2. 1. Use public mode of transportation

Encourage people to use more and more public modes of transportation to reduce pollution. Also, try to make use of carpooling. If you and your colleagues come from the same locality and have same timings you can explore this option to save energy and money.

2. Conserve energy

Switch off fans and lights when you are going out. A large number of fossil fuels are burnt to produce electricity. You can save the environment from degradation by reducing the number of fossil fuels to be burned.

3. Understand the concept of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

Do not throw away items that are of no use to you. In-fact reuse them for some other purpose. For e.g. you can use old jars to store cereals or pulses.

4. Emphasis on clean energy resources

Clean energy technologies like solar, wind and geothermal are on high these days. Governments of various countries have been providing grants to consumers who are interested in installing solar panels for their home. This will go a long way to curb air pollution.

5. Use energy efficient devices

CFL lights consume less electricity as against their counterparts. They live longer, consume less electricity, lower electricity bills and also help you to reduce pollution by consuming less energy.

Several attempts are being made worldwide on a personal, industrial and governmental levels to curb the intensity at which air pollution is rising and regain a balance as far as the proportions of the foundation gases are concerned. This is a direct attempt at slacking Global warming. We are seeing a series of innovations and experiments aimed at alternate and unconventional options to reduce pollutants. Air pollution is one of the larger mirrors of man’s follies, and a challenge we need to overcome to see a tomorrow.

TYPE OF NATURAL DISATER: Flood

WAYS TO PREPARE:

• – Check for local flood warnings if your area is at risk: look online or call Floodline.
• – Tune in to the local radio or television news for updates. Alert your neighbours, particularly elderly or vulnerable people.
• – Prepare an emergency kit, including emergency numbers, insurance policy, first aid kit, torch and water.
• – Use our home emergency contacts sheet so you have the numbers you need to hand, even if you lose power.
• – Have a list of irreplaceable items to keep safe and put important personal documents into a sealed bag.
• – Pack essential items you will need if evacuated – medication, clothing, toiletries and items for children.
• – Purchase unfilled sandbags and sand from builders’ merchants. Remember that, if there is a flood, demand may exceed supply – as people will rush to buy them.
• – Empty freezers and refrigerators, leaving doors open.
• – If you can, move any vehicles to higher levels.
• – If you have time, take photographs before you leave. This may help later with insurance claims.
• – Turn off the mains power and water, and take mobile phones and chargers with you. Put sandbags in toilet bowls to prevent sewage back-flow.
• – Shut windows, lock doors – and don’t forget to take your pets.
