Plenty. If you think science doesn't matter much to you, think again. Science affects us all, every day of the year, from the moment we wake up, all day long, and through the night. Your digital alarm clock, the weather report, the asphalt you drive on, the bus you ride in, your decision to eat a baked potato instead of fries, your cell phone, the antibiotics that treat your sore throat, the clean water that comes from your faucet, and the light that you turn off at the end of the day have all been brought to you courtesy of science. The modern world would not be modern at all without the understandings and technologyenabled by science. |

That is too long. It is the name of a hill in Hawkes Bay with 85 characters. 10 points if you can pronounce it. Blue Lake, in Nelson Lakes National Park, has the clearest water in the world. Are you afraid of snakes? If yes, New Zealand is the place for you. There are no land snakes, native or introduces in New Zealand . When you meet a Maori person in New Zealand, do you know how to greet them? Touch their nose with your nose. When in New Zealand , don't forget to visit the famous Hobbion movie set of the film " thr Lord of the Ring ". Do you agree with me that New Zealand is country worth visiting? I agree with the idea that science and technology bring a lot of benefits to people. Firstly, people have started to live longer and their health is remarkable. With new technology, medical research is being done everyday to help find cures or vaccines for devastating diseases such as Cancer, AIDS,... Secondly, it helped advance people' knowledge and provide a higher quality of life. For example, students are able to use technology to help them better understand scientific concepts. Technology gives access to items such as maps, videos and simulated labs that appeal to students who learn best from methods other than conventional lectures. For more, life has become easy and stable. Finally, travelling and communication has become easier, cheaper and fast in minutes.
In short, science and technology bring a lot of benefits to people.
