In 1076, Vietnam 's first university was established here to educate sons of mandarin and royal family.
The temple is make up of five separate courtyards. The stone stelae which is record the names, place of birth and achievements of men who received doctorates in examinations held in 14th century. Hanoi is a dreamy city has been infatuated human heart. Besides the noise and busyness, that is the poetic and peaceful beauty. From long time ago, Hanoi was famous for thirty-six streets… Each street is a village, has unique characteristics unique. In general, people here are very elegant, open-minded and friendly. They are very willing to give directions to tourists and even invite them home. Besides, they are also very hardworking people, always try their best in life. Most of their time they spend on working and raising their children. Coming to Hanoi, we can not ignore the tourist attractions such as Bat Trang pottery village, the Temple of Literature, President Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, one pillar pagoda, ... They are associated with the existence and development of Hanoi, also Vietnam. Here, we will be attracted by the special dishes such as Vong Rice, Trang Tien ice cream, Ho Tay shrimp cake ... They are very delicious and are special characteristic of Hanoi, not similar to anywhere. For me, Hanoi is a beautiful and poetic city. Ha Noi is the capital of the socialist republic of Viet Nam. The center of culture, politic, economy of the country. It’s the largest city in Việt Nam, it lies on the red River in the north center of Viet Nam. And it has a population about over 6 million people(as 2008) Ha Noi has become the capital of Việt Nam since 1010. Its name has changed several times. The capital was first called Thang Long, then Dong Do , Dong Kinh, and finally, it has been called Ha Noi since 1831. Ha Noi is situated in a tropical monsoon zone with two main seasons; dry season and wet season. The dry season last from October to April next year. It’s cold, cloudy and occasionally rainy. The wet season last from May to September. It’s hot and heavy rain, even storms. Ha Noi is exciting and peaceful capital. Hanoi still maintains many ancient architecture. Including : The old quarters and over 600 pagodas and Temples. One of the famous places is The one Pillar Pagoda; The Quoc Tu Giam temple Literature, Hanoi Opera House; Precedent Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum. And now, there’re a lot of big famous buildings as My Dinh stadium; Ho Tay water park; National conference center. Ha Noi has a lot of green trees, parks, lakes, Which are lungs of the city, keep the air clean and fresh. However, Ha Noi has problems with traffic and pollution. Only over 6 million people but there are 4.5 million motorbike and car. Traffic jams occur. There’s a lot of smoke and dust in the air. So the air isn’t really clean. Moreover the price and service is a bit expensive, so many people don’t like living here. Apart from these problems. Hanoi is still a beautiful place to live and to work and I like living here.

Vietnam has many beautiful and attractive places, but the one I want to go to the most is Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh. It has been recognized as a World Natural Heritage by Unesco. And it is also recognized as the most famous and beautiful natural heritage in Vietnam. It has many beautiful islands, especially Tuan Chau. Ha Long Bay has a vast and immense coastline. The sea is very beautiful. And there are deep caves. If there is a sea, there will certainly be boats: sailing ships, yatch,..... Not only that, the evening in Ha Long is also very wonderful. We can go to the amusement park and play a lot of games. The roller coaster, the spin, the light from the flashing lights, it's all great, isn't it? There are a lot of things that I want to explore in the Bay Ha Long. I want to sail around all the islands. And I want to venture, explore dark and terrifying caves. I also want to try the delicious and wonderful seafood dishes. I want to go to Ha Long even once in my life, to see the place recognized as the most beautiful place in Vietnam.

Hanoi, the beloved capital, where I was born and raised. Hanoi has many beautiful landscapes but my favorite is West Lake. It is a place where I and many tourists come here are amazed. Dawn to the sun shines down on the sea like a beautiful, pink coat. Each passing breeze shook the willow trees. The surface of the lake is also agitated. The ripples rushed ashore as if playing the drowned game. Noon, the lake surface was sparkling, clear, green. The space around the lake is only the sound of the rustling wind of the ancient doctors, Phuong Phuong is looking down at the lake. At sunset, West Lake looked like wearing a yellow shirt. Young girls with long dresses are posing to save the beautiful picture! I love and be proud of my beloved homeland!

#1: Since 1986s, in the countryside there are brick houses supplant old cottages. Some new changes, help life good, there are car, motorbike, plane,... in the transport. They make it easy for people to travel, time-saving,...In order to change in the better life, modern equipment had invented, TV, Computer, laptop, smartphone, modern clothes has been born. Living in the countryside has become easier, better.
#2: My secondary school is a place that bears all the hallmarks of my childhood memories. It is placed in the center of my district. Surrounded by a paddy-field, it enjoys lined- trees and colorful garden, which creates a wonderful view. Moreover, this school was designed with a large- scale plan. It is a 2 storied building of u shape with capacity of 1000 people and it was invested heavily in infrastructures with well- equipped classrooms. In a good environment, students are given many precious chances to discover and develop their inner talents. Besides modern facilities, this school is also well- known for enthusiastic and qualified teachers who are always dedicated and devoted themselves to teaching career. In conclusion, studied in this school for four years, it has become an indispensable part in my life.
#3: Over the last century, there have been many significant changes in the way we live. Obviously, it is hard to compare the life of the ancient people and the life of the people of the twenty first century because so many changes have occured. However, even the changes that have taken place over the last ten years are amazing.To start with, people were not able to travel such long distances in such short period of time. The planes were not that popular then because they used to be a very expensive means of transport. Nowadays, we have become very mobile. We have fast and comfortable cars and more and more people also travels by plane. Moreover, in the past people had to work much harder as they did not have tools which made their work easier. Today, most of the difficult and dangerous work is done by computers and other machines. In the past the conditions of living were not as comfortable as they are now. There were not bathrooms and running water in many houses, besides many people could not afford household appliances like fridge, TV set or vacuum cleaner because they used to be luxurious goods. Another difference between living now and in the past is the fact that nowadays the access to education is much easier. In the past, there were fewer schools and the quality of the education they provided was much poorer. Besides, nowadays it is much easier to find the educational materials that you need thanks to the Internet. Another difference is that in the past there were not that many sources of entertainment. Therefore people used to spend more time with their friends.All things considering, it is an obvious conclusion that life has changed significantly in the last couple of years. It is definitely much easier now however, it is not easy to decide whether it is also better. The scientific achievements and technological progress are amazing. We still create new inventions which simplify our lives. On the other hand, however, life now is much faster and more busy than it used to be in the past. Moreover, it has also become more dangerous. The standard of living has definitely improved but it can be discussed whether the quality of our lives is also better.

Ha Long Bay is natural wonder in Quang Ninh. From Ha Noi to Ha Long Bay about 170 km. You can go there by bus, motobikes, cars, est. In there, you can see many islands. It's very big. And you can also see many boats. There're visited the islands. We take the photos with islands. It's convenient to buy seafood. It's so good. Go there, you should visit Tuan Chau island. It's the biggest island in Ha Long Bay. It's modern and noisy. Everybody make it noisy. But there are many buildings around the island. And there are many flowers and trees for natural lovers. It's so great! I love Ha Long Bay very much and it's very very and very beautiful natural wonder in Quang Ninh, Viet Nam and the world!

Van Mieu constructed in 1070 during Ly Thanh Tong 's dynasty. Its original purpose was to honor Confucius. In 1076, the first university of Vietnam called Quoc Tu Giam, was established within this temple by Emperor Ly Nhan Tong. That's the reason why the complex has the name of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam up to now. Initally, Quoc Tu Giam was the school for princes and chirlden of royal families and then expended in the following year to admit top students from around the country
Nowadays, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam is one of the most famous tourist destinations for both Vietnamese people and foreigners. It's also a place to celebrate doctorates and high ranking scholars of Vietnam. One special thing about this place is that there are 82 Doctors' stone tablets. They are tombstones with names and origins of 1304 doctors placed on the backs of stone tortoises. If you come here at the beginning of the year or in May, when many important examinations take place, you will catch sights of numerous families and students who come and pray for luck.

Emperor LyThanh Tong founded the Temple of literature in 1070. Now it is considered as one of the historic and cultural sites of VietNam. And then in 1076 Emperor Ly Nhan To-ng built the imperial academy as the first university in Vietnam.
