I feel so excited each time I write to you and tell you everything in my daily life. In this letter, I want to share my birthday party which was held last Sunday with all of you. I hope that next birthday you and I could enjoy my party together.
My mom and I organized a big party in our flower garden. There were about 30 people coming to my party including my friends, my relatives and some neighbors. The garden was beautifully decorated with colorful balloons and ribbons.
On that day, I wore a pink dress that my dad bought for me and a crown on my head. My friends said that I looked like a princess. I felt so happy. I also received a lot of presents from my relatives and friends. I thought I was the luckiest princess.
During the party, we played some fun games together such as hide-and-seek or bag jumping. Everybody looked very funny and cute. We also danced to the music and sang excitedly together.
At the end of the party, my father gave return gifts to children coming to the party. After that, all of us took lots of photos to keep those sweet moments. We said goodbye to the guests when it was dark. That was the most wonderful party I’ve had in my life.

I celebrated my birthday party last year in my own house. I decided to have an all girl party with all my friends and the female members of my family. It was amazing we had two drink fountains, everything was pink and my friend had baked and decorated a huge pink cake for me it was beautiful. I think you can get the jist of my favourite colour. By the middle of the night we were all singing on karaoke and everyone was really drunk. My last memory of the night was me lying on my livingroom floor really drunk and my friend were popping party poppers on me! lol. It was a great night and all my friends still speak about it now.

Birthday is a funny occasion with everybody. It has many ways to celebrate our birthday. We can hold party, go out with friends or family. I had 11 birthdays beside my friends and my family. I often hold small, simple and warm parties. I remember them because they are best memories in my life. Until now, the birthday that make me fell unforgetable is my 11th birthday. It was held last May. It was a special birthday because it was the first birthday that I live far from my family. In that afternoon, I went out with my best classmates. We ate ice-cream, "xèo" cake, and some delecious food. We chatted togerther about many interesting things. We laughed a lot. Ofcourse, we took many photos to make memory. They are really good friends. I am so lucky when I meet them, study with them and become friend with them. Although they are all my new friends at university, they are so kind and friendly. I remembered that they gave me a beautiful T-shirt and a card. I love them. Besides, I was received many wonderful wishes from my parents and other friends. My dad texted a phone message to me. He said congratulation and hoped I am always heathy, beautiful and study well. Then my mom phoned to me. She said the same my dad and asked me how I hold my birthday. I thanked my parents and I wished they can come there with me. It was more meaningful. I felt so moved and happy at that moment. In the evening, I had a small party with my friends in my dorm. They sang birthday'song very loudly. We also ate food, drank Fansta and listened to music. That was all our favourite songs. My room was so excited and noisy. We chatted until midnight. We cleaned the room and the party finished. Although I felt a bit homesick, it didn't matter. I always have my family and my friends by my side. It's enough. That was really a meaningful birthday and I was so greatful.

* About my closest friend :
I have a good friend, her name is Lan. We got to know each other when we studied in the same class in middle school. She is tall and and has a slightly slim body. Lan has long black hair, she takes very good care of her hair so they always straight and smooth. Her eyes are brown, and I think they are as big as the eyes of the lovely dolls. Her hobbies are having snacks, and dishes mixed rice paper, milk tea, fried fish ball etc. always appear in her snack list after school. In our free time, we often visit our familiar shops to enjoy delicious food and chat with each other. Lan is a good student at school, and she is especially interested in math. There is almost no exercise that can challenge her, but sometimes Lan cannot get the highest score since she has a sloppy personality. Despite being a good student, Lan is very modest. She is willing to take the time to help other friends understand the lecture better, and sometimes she helps to check the results of our homework. Besides learning and eating out, Lan also s to play sports. We often go to the pool at the weekends, and swimming is the reason that gives Lan an ideal height at her age. Lan is a little shy and does not to communicate with many people, but she has a great love for animals. Her parents have 2 cats and one dog, and I always hear Lan calls them sisters and brother. I am Lan's only best friend, and sometimes I feel happy when she says she loves me as much as she loves her "siblings”. Lan is a good and interesting friend, and I will be friend with her for a long time to learn more about her.

Lan là một cô bé hơi nhút nhát và không thích giao tiếp với nhiều người, nhưng cậu ấy lại có một tình yêu to lớn đối với động vật. Bố mẹ Lan nuôi 2 chú mèo và một chú chó, và lúc nào tôi cũng nghe lan gọi chúng là em của mình. A birthday party is a happy and attractive occasion in a modern society. It is observed on one’s birthday. It comes once every year with joy and merriment. I celebrated my last birthday on 1st December 2017. I was 17. It was the fifteenth birthday of mine. I invited my friends and relatives. It was held at our residence at Gulshan. On this occasion, our drawing room was nicely decorated with flowers and festoons. The house wore a festive look. We ordered a birthday cake. My father bought a fine new dress for me and my mother was going to give me a pleasant surprise. The cake arrived in time. Different items of foods were placed on the table. My friends and guests began to arrive by twos and threes. By 5 o’clock everybody arrived. We all stood around the dining table. I merrily cut the cake. A round of applause followed. Plates full of delicious food items were handed over to the guests. We ate them in the midst of merriments, songs, and music. The camera of my brother was clicking on. He took pictures of rare moments. The presents brought by my friends and others were given to me. I thanked them all. I enjoyed the day very much. The party was rounded off with a chorus ‘Happy birthday to you’.

Every summer , i go to the beach with my family . But last summer , i went to Ha Long Bay with my classmates and my teacher . In the morning , i built sandcastle and drawing the sea . At noon , i ate a lot of seafood such as : crabs , shrimps , so on ... The food was delicious . We stayed at five star hotel . My room was very nice and comfortable . In the afternoon , i swam in the sea . Some of my friends swam very well . In the evening , i drank coconut milk . When i came home i felt very tired but it was a wonderful summer . Topic 2: write a letter to your friends about your party last weekend
Dear John,
I'm very happy when I received your letter. I'm writing this letter to tell you about the party I went last week. That was my best friend birthday party.
Huong is my close friend. She turned 25 recently and her parents held a birthday party for her. I was one of those invited. The party began at about three in the afternoon. There were about twenty guests gathered in her house. We were all dressed in our best clothes. Everyone, especially Huong was very happy. We gave our presents to her and she happily opened them. It must really be exciting to receive all those presents. After that her mother served us soft drinks and delicious titbits. We then played some games like "Musical Chairs" and "Treasure Hunt". The winners were given prizes. At about four-thirty her father brought out the birthday cake. It was beautifully decorated with pink and white ice cream. 25 colorful candles sat in the middle of the cake. We all sang "Happy Birthday" to Huong after which she blew out the candles and cut the cake. Everyone clapped out hands eagerly. We helped ourselves to slices of the delicious cake. Then we continued our games.
Finally at about six in the evening the party came to an end. We were all tired but happy. I helped Huong and her parent clean up the mess we made. After that I walked home with a very good feeling .

Topic 3: you have just moved to a new house. Write a letter to your friend about your new house.
Dear Helen,
I’m just writing to let you know that I shifted to a new house two weeks ago.
I had been awaiting promotion for a long time and now I have been promoted as a branch manager in the newly opened branch of my company. The new office is a long way away from the house where I lived before. The long commute made me very tired and so I decided to move to a new place.
I’m now living in a fully furnished brand new house. It has a large living room, a modular kitchen, two cosy bedrooms and especially a spacious parking area. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden, which I love the most. The balcony is very attractive and it is the place where I relax after a long busy day. The rent is quite high; nevertheless, I am comfortable living here because of the easy access to office and other amenities.
So, when are we going to meet up? If you have time next weekend please come with your family. We will have lunch and spend some quality time together. You can also take a look at my new house.
