tính từ ngắn:

câu thêm đuôi "er" là so sánh hơn

câu thêm đuôi "est" là so sánh nhất

so sánh hơn:

S + am/is/are+ tính từ thêm đuôi "er"

so sánh nhất:

S + am/is/are + tính từ thêm đuôi "est"

tính từ dài:

S + am/is/are + more + tính từ dài

S + am/is/are + most + tính từ dài

lưu ý:

Nếu tiếng Anh có động từ bất quy tắc thì trong câu so sánh, với các tính từ và trạng từ cũng có bất quy tắc tiếng. Cùng tìm hiểu các tính từ và trạng từ phổ biến thường gặp trong các dạng câu so sánh tiếng Anh dưới đây: 

	So sánh hơn	So sánh hơn nhất
good/well	better	best
bad/badly	worse	worst
little	less	least
many/much	more	most

nếu cuối câu tính từ có "y" ta sẽ chuyển thành "i" và xem nó là tính từ ngắn

nếu tính từ có chữ cuối là e ta chỉ việc thêm "s" hoặc "st"
