\(\Leftrightarrow x^2+4x+4-2\left(x^2+5x+6\right)+x^2+10x+25=7\)

\(\Leftrightarrow4x+10=0\)
\(\Leftrightarrow4x=-10\)

Khi chu vi tăng lên 20% thì mỗi cạnh của hình vuông đều tăng 20%
Diện tích được tính bằng \(a\cdot a\)
Khi cạnh tăng lên 20%
\(\left(a\cdot120\%\right)\cdot\left(a\cdot120\%\right)=a\cdot a\cdot144\%\)
Vậy diện tích tăng lên \(44\%\)

Có nhiều trường hợp xảy ra :
1) Chiều dài tăng 10%
2) Chiều rộng tăng 10%
3) Chiều dài, rộng tăng mỗi cạnh 5%
4) Hoặc 2 cạnh tăng sao cho chu vi tăng 20%...
Ta chọn trường hợp 3 làm ví dụ :
Chu vi tăng 20% thì nửa chu vi tăng 10% mỗi cạnh sẽ tăng :
\(20\%:4=5\%\)
Vậy diện tích sẽ tăng :
\(1,05.1,05-1.1=0,1025=10,25\%\)
