                                BÀI LÀM

I have read many interesting fairy tales. But the story that impressed me the most, is still the story of the hundred-burnt bamboo tree. The story is about a hardworking and honest farmer. Because he fell in love with the rich man's daughter, he worked wholeheartedly for him, without any wages. But when the girl was about to get married, the rich man forced him to find a hundred-burnt bamboo. Although he knew it was difficult, he still had to agree to go find it. During many days of hard work and difficulty wading through the bamboo forest, the poor farmer still could not find a single bamboo tree with enough hundreds of candles. Helpless, sad, he sat down on the ground and cried. Seeing that, the buddhist appeared and inquired about him. Knowing the source of the matter, the Buddha told him to go and cut a hundred bamboo sticks here, and then he would teach him the mantra. Hearing that, he was very happy, and quickly went to cut bamboo immediately. Enough bamboo and mallow taught him the two mantras "carving in, entering and leaving" and "carving out, carving out" to put the bamboo segments together. Overjoyed, he thanked him and hurried home. Unexpectedly, at home, the rich man was getting married for his daughter and another rich man. So angry, he immediately recited the spell, stuck the landlord's name and the rich man's name on the bamboo, unable to remove it. It was not until he was willing to fulfill his promise that he released him. Finally, after many hardships, the farmer also married the person he loved. The story of the hundred-burnt bamboo tree has been conveyed by folk authors to the dream of a just society. Those who are gentle and hardworking will surely be happy, and those who are greedy will be appropriately punished.
