Dear Mrs Benson,
I am writing in response to your advertisement for a job in your international bookshop in TheTime newspaper.
Firstly, I would like to introduce myself. I am a Vietnamese citizen, living in Hanoi and a qualified secondary school teacher of literature. I speak good English (Cambridge Advanced pass B); in addition, I also speak reasonable French and Spanish (both at B2 level). Secondly, as a teacher of literature, I am interested in books and reading and I have deeply known many literators in Vietnam and in the world.
Like all teachers in Vietnam, I have 3 months off in summer and Iam, therefore, available for the months of June, July, and August.
I am used to working with people, especially young people, both professionaly in my teaching career and socially in my capacity as a group leader of Department of Literature.
In conclusion, I believe that I am the right candidate and hope you will consider my application.
Since I shall be on holidays from April 29th to May 2nd , I would be available for an interview in that period.
I am looking forward to hearing from you in due course.
Yours sincerely,
