a.

$\frac{3}{4}+\frac{1}{4}:x=-3$

$\frac{1}{4}:x =-3-\frac{3}{4}=\frac{-15}{4}$
$x=\frac{1}{4}: \frac{-15}{4}=\frac{-1}{15}$

b.

$(x-\frac{1}{3})^2=1-\frac{5}{9}=\frac{4}{9}=(\frac{2}{3})^2=(\frac{-2}{3})^2$
$\Rightarrow x-\frac{1}{3}=\frac{2}{3}$ hoặc $x-\frac{1}{3}=\frac{-2}{3}$
